Presidential Info, yeah

I seen this article on CBS, yea yea I know they're biased.  Anyhow, I thought I would share it.  It's an article on the presidential candidates.  I hold no political affiliation at this time...check it out

The Rock: Sure, Clinton has the best shot ever to become the first woman president. She's universally recognized, has gone through scandals and two terms as first lady. Everyone knows that, so why not take advantage of it?

The Dreamer: Everyone loves a dreamer and when that person also happens to achieve near-rock star status it seems magical. Barack Obama has captured the nation's imaginations by appealing to our better natures and providing the promise of healing our most longstanding and bitter wounds.

The People's Choice: Other candidates may have an eye on the broader electorate, but John Edwards left little doubt who his message is aimed at — the Democratic Party. "We cannot walk away from our people. We cannot walk away from the heart and soul of what the Democratic Party is and should be."

Does anyone hold an affinity to political elections?  I'm interested to see how this all will play out.  CBS News also had this to say about Barack Obama:

"He has a foreign sounding name that rhymes with "Osama," his middle name is Hussein, and he has admitted to using marijuana and cocaine as a teenager. Racially he is half black, half white, and in terms of political experience, green."

What is this?!  Seems they are trying hard to link Barack with negativity.  CBS, you upset me.

I've been busy with school this past week, so I haven't been on GS.  Good news I finally had time last night to beat Xenosaga 2 FULLY.  I beat the second storie line - "The Dark Professor."  I'm so glad, the boss at Heaven Ruins wasn't hard to beat since I was at level 72.  However, Dark Erde Kaiser took so long to beat and I think he killed one of characters about 3 times!  Finally...I can put the game away.

Since I may not be on GS later...
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

Stomp the Yard

Hey all,
I will like to hear your thoughts on this article.

"Even though one theater in Springfield, Ill., decided this week not to immediately show the film for fear that attracting young black theatergoers would lead to violence - the city's National Association for the Advancement of Colored People has condemned the decision - there's just one scene of real violence in "Stomp the Yard."

Movies such as these do not promote violence, especially since it only has one scene.  The film is composed of dance, comedy, and a little romance.  It's a feel good film.  If any movie should've been banned, should've been "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" - the 50 Cent film - it's story is centered around violence.  None of the other urban dance films were banned: "Save the Last Dance", "Step Up", and who doesn't love "You Got Served" (heh).

I'm going to speculate that perhaps since it was something new, something different...a movie about Africana fraternities, about stepping...this is the reason why it was banned.  Ohk, maybe Springfield, Illinois is thugtastical, I don't know.

With my positive outlook on Africana fraternities, I suggest everyone to see this film, and I hope that no other cities ban it.  I believe the film showcases Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  So, go check them out.  However, the best steppers are Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.

Farewell to Unions??

Like I mentioned a few days ago: there will be winter cleaning.

I have officially resigned from 5 unions.  I apologize to the union leaders whom may or may not had invited me.  I am looking for active unions with topics that pique my interest(s).  I do encourage union invites :D

I send my farewells to:

The Next-Gen Zero Union:  A new union.  Good luck as your union strives to become stronger.

All About Off-Topic Union:  I don't have that much to say.

The Family Guy Union: I still like the show, but I don't LOVE the show.

The Guild of Epics Union:  I am unable to contribute anything intelligent to you all.

The Tony  Gaming Union:  This union had some interesting changes and "conflicts" (lack of a better term).  However, thank you Tony for the laughs and discussions, and Happy B-day again!!

Happy New Year to all...

Four days is so long

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be off of GS for a few days.  I'm going home for Christmas with the fam.  I'll miss ya all.  So, be safe and eat some turkey for me.  Ya will see me in ya blogs come Wednesday.

LOVE, PEACE, AND HAIR GREASE....

When I get back, I think it's about time to do some winter cleaning.  I may be leaving some Unions to dedicate myself more to others, old and new.

Also, I've been going to vgcats.com for about a year now, it's a great site for video game related comics.

The comic below is from the site, go to www.vgcats.com for this week's comic.

Got Narutimate Hero 3 - dattebayo!

So, I went on Ebay last week and purchased Naruto Narutimate Hero 3.  It costed about $30.  Yea, your right, it's the japanese version.  I know a little japanese, just enough to get me through the game.  I really shouldn't be playing it, seeing that I have three games yet to finish (check mah now playing list).  Itz just that I beat the first Hero and Naruto Ninden (both Japanese versions).

I plan on writing a review of the game later.  The game is fun, itz a real easy game to pick up and play.  Anyone can play it really.  The skill only comes in knowing your fighter, because all the commands are the same (ala DBZ games).  I think it has about 40 characters.  I just beat the story mode last night, but still have the RPG mode to get through.

The modes are RPG mode where you can run around a section of Konoha talking to NPCs.  This is where you also perform a variety of missions, and play minigames.  The story mode highlights the top fights in the series thus far in four story arcs.  The Zabuza arc, the Chunnin exam, Itachi/Tsunade arc, and the Sound Ninja battle.  Typical versus, practice, options.  There's also three minigames: tree climbing, test of strength, and shuriken throw.

So far my fav characters are Rock Lee, Gai sensei, TenTen, and Kimimaro.  Itz a fun game, I can't wait to get off of work, wow I have seven hours left in my day.  This is winter break for my college, so I stayed in town to work.  It make sense, I have to pay bills for the house anyhow.

I'm on Gaia!  www.gaiaonline.com - kamicolo48

My school improves

This has been a great quarter to be a Bobcat!  Our football team has finally won the MAC-East.  Our volleyball team has won their fourth straight MAC tourney.  Also, our men basketball team is 3-0.

I'm proud of them all.  Let's GO BOBCATS!

Good luck to all who are taking finals.  I have two left and cannot wait to finish them.

My roomies and I went on a video game "shopping spree."  I bought Star Wars Battlefront II.  They bought: Bully, GRAW, Socom Combined Assault, Call of Duty 3, and Shadow of the Colossus (S/C).  Roomie Cory hasn't put the controller down for Bully.  Luce started playing S/C, and now almost everyone is jumping in on it, creating their own save files.  He even got our friend Dia playing, she's not really one to play videogames.  I'm just gonna wait until they finish, then I'll jump in too.  It is so hard to keep myself from watching them fight each giant, but I must for it won't be too easy, right??

Well, Happy Holidays to everyone.  Don't know when I'll create a new blog.

T-i-r-e-d

Finals week is approaching fast.  I'm sitting here in the library attempting to study, but can't focus cuz I'm soooo hunngry...  Everything is well though.

My fraternity will be hosting a "sleepout for the homeless," tomorrow night.  We have plans on having sleeping bags and such to raise money for the homeless of Athens County.  It should be fun.  I'm thinking of bringing out the air mattress and a space-heater.

Nothing too crazy going on.  I will be attending the NPHC stepshow in Columbus this upcoming Friday.  Then I have to work on Saturday night.  I'm hoping to have another party before the quarter ends.  Had one this past Saturday night.

Anyone have house-party ideas?  I was thinking of having a blackout party: glowsticks, white tees, blacklights, and blackouts.

Well, everyone have a good rest of the week.  I have four finals starting next week, wish me luck.  I just want to graduate...gosh

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to All!
As you know I attend Ohio University.  OU is known as a party school, and that's because of Halloween.  Every Halloween weekend, there's a huge block party with live bands, hundreds (maybe thousand) of people, food, costumes, and of course beer.
Tonight (Saturday) is the great block party.  If ya get time, look it up online.  There's a lot of pictures; I'm sure someone has updated pics on their facebook or myspace.  Be sure to look for pics tonight and tomorrow.
Below is a pic from last year, I think I'm over by Jimmy John's (the red sign).

I have the Power!

I live in a house with 4 other fellas...all are good friends of mine.  I was joking to Steve that everyone has a power but me.
Steve can do caporeira.  Cory an aviator/pilot.  Dre's a bouncer.  Luce has fireballs (balls of fire he spins on chains for tricks and show)
I need a power too.  So, while at Wal-Mart, I acquired mah power.  I now have the power of cannon - I bought a BB gun!
It was a choice btwn one with a laser sight or one with an extra clip.  I got the laser sight.  I shot mah roommates already, I guess now I just wait for the villiains...heh.  Cory seen it, and decided to get one too, it's cool though.  He bought a target, so now I have no reason to shoot the neighbors.
Fun times...I won't shoot mah eye out.  Pwwht!  Pow!  Ouuuuchh...my hand!!  That hurt, a plastic BB hurts, wow!
