Graphics wise maybe, but that's only because with PC games they have to consider various builds, and make the decision graphics vs potential sales. But these days most PC gamers are probably fairly up to date with the hardware they are running so i dont get why games are still being released only needing an Nvidia 8600 or mid 2000 series AMD/ATI.
I almost never buy PC games until at least a year after release, or if a good deal pops up. And that's only cuz you cant sell them. Especially when keys get linked to accounts. But i ended up getting it yesterday despite of the price and always online crap and had fun playing it, ill be jumping on again soon. I'm hoping we get a choice of a few games, i don't want anything from the Sims 3
@Dudeinator The funny part is that SimCity probably didn't have anywhere near the server load of D3 at launch. I was playing D3 within 3 hours of servers going up, including installation.
They could have easily had an app that measured your PCs performance and adjusts map size limits from the start, but since this is EA, they will probably gradually increase map sized with several overpriced expansions/DLCs
I will not even consider getting this game until i know their maintenance schedule doesn't affect me, and only if the city size limit is expandable without having to buy some DLC or expansion pack
I don't usually buy used games because they tend to be just a few dollars cheaper then a new copy, but when i buy a game on day one of its release and is not worth keeping after i have beaten it, i don't want to be stuck with it just sitting on my shelf collecting dust.. The only way i might approve of this is if new release games would cost $30, with $15 being the new greatest hits price. But knowing how companies are greedy, they would probably end up back at $60 or more by the end of the generation. Either by price hike or games being so cut down to sell DLCs
How lazy are people that they cant press a button on a controller. And if the TV doesn't turn on voice command, you still have turn it on and possibly switch to the output.
