VII all the way, and I don't think its over-hyped. Its a great game even by todays standards and its simplistic graphic design actually helps to drive your own imagination.
I've got a 60gig and Im very happy with it. If I couldnt buy that version I'd probably drop the PS3 and go with the 360 / Wii combo. Actually thats the first situation where a company is downgrading their product 0_o.
From the start the PS3 was marked as elite hardware. Very low breakdown rate, very stable, very well built. But now it's all going to pieces, new PS3s are a lot more crappier, they are saving on the hardware and thats not good. Breakdown rate is increasing, Yellow light of death or whatever.
Jeez, they could just leave the 60 gig, add a 60 gig hardware with a 120 gig hdd, leave the prices alone for a while. Deliver the quality, not degrade it.
And I can still remember Sony laughing at Microsoft for their lack of full BC at the system launch. Hypocrites ! Like always lying to the public : "Yes, PS3 will have a full BC since day one" ... ehh i really dislike Sony for that.
I Just finsihed the game with my young brother and i gotta say , this game is right on top their with the retailers! amazing game ...i am going to say one thing , you guys are in for one hell of a ride! just make sure you could hold on tight;) amazing amazing game! kudos behemoth! beautiful and amazing game.XxSTILL_BORNxX
Well that makes me quite the opposite. I love RPGs and even some jRPGs like FF7 or Chronotrigger but this game somehow doesn't get to me. Especially the character feel and design.
Haven't got far into the game TBH, but after few hours of play i have to say, I don't dig the characters, memories of the main character are weak, tried to read through one and almost fell asleep in the middle, the way they are brought to you is absolutely appalling. I was hoping for a lot more when I first saw the previews of this game.
Further more, dialogues are weak, graphics are really mixed, sometimes they're great, sometimes very poor (like some character models).
Am I missing something or does this game really sucks ?
Yep trailer looks good, but I doubt they will be able to keep the epic feel of the original. And Sega is not a top-notch producer nowadays. If it was a Ubi-soft game I would say I'm hyped : P
