@Mirimon78: No....smh. You're not getting it. Sony pay people, MS pay people, its common. Normally they shout out 'thanks to X for hooking us up' etc. They didn't say that with two videos this time and that's when Machinima broke the rules. The problem is how much of a deal your making it.
@Mirimon78: The thing I find dumb is that the facts are out, and staring you in the face, yet you still think MS done something wrong, even when they were cleared. Is your problem that MS are paying for publicity at all?
@Mirimon78: Actually this was a single isolated lapse. As is says in the article. How many people do you think Sony paid off, but because they declared they were, there is no problem. You seem to think only MS can do shady things.
@Mirimon78: Actually they hired a marketing company to hire others to promote the xbox. This wasnt MS practices that has been proved. Its' articles like this, people like you, and the current popularity of hating Microsoft that made this look like something its not.
@Mirimon78: what the **** are you talking about? This article doesn't actually say what happened. Microsoft paid machinima, among others, to promote it's product. Pretty normal stuff but machinima made videos and didn't say they were paid to do so. That's when they broke the rules. They HAVE investigated Microsoft, and found they did not break any rules, this happened in spite of policies and procedures.
