Wow! A new vcard series from ATi and they're still losing pretty badly. Man that s*cks big time! I was hoping that the new 3k series from ATi would at least compete the 8 series of Nvidia since the 2k series of ATi didn't quite match up well. In any case, the good thing bout this on seems to be the directx 10.1 but who cares really when the game performance is inferior compared to that of nvidia. :D :) :lol: Well anyway, 8800GT is the way to go this time around plus it's cheap also. So you won't regret any decision buying it. 8800GTX IMHO is not a safe choice since it's expensive and I think that somewhere something along in the near future will be able to beat it... but who knows... God knows.... LOL
hurrah for 8800GT! I wonder how long, rather how many months it'll last 'til it'll get replaced by a newer vcard. Oh well, but the 8800GT is a good thing though. Crysis is surely an awesome game. Best played on higher settings in order to feel the game. :) I'm betting a lot of people are upgrading just for this stuff or the release of 8800GT.
Not much difference between XP and Vista. I'm sticking with XP. And I thought that this game could bring more people into Vista. lol. Well, I guess still XP is the way to go rather than Vista - such a resource hogger, plus it requires more power/system requirements for your pc when playing compared to XP. By the way, Crisis is one awesome game especially in terms of graphics. The setting reminds of Far Cry.

Yeah, they're both pretty much similar but the detailed texture is now pretty much improved. Compared to the xbox.
