I love MGS series and GeoW, but isnt MGS traditionally a lower seller in most of its releases? I think Gears in its first game has sold more then most of any release of MGS.7thSIN
I think if you consider the US only that might be true. World wide it might be a different story, but they are very different games and hard to compare.

judging from the images they are pretty close. but we may never know why and an educated guess like most media outlets say the 360 had more time with developers.

Because i actually don't have a ps2 and been wanting to play ps2 games and knowing that a good deal of backwards compatibility i bought the ps3 instead of a ps2 because i really didn't want to buy a ps3 later. In other words i tried to hit two birds with one stone as much as i could. The 360 doesn't have the library of games i want to play.

But couldn't you say that about the PS3 and the 360. They use similar components in the systems. Such as Memory, harddrive, processors, etc... When you install windows on mac you are essentially using windows and not mac to play the games. If this wasn't important than why would EA release a differenct cover for the Mac games and not just use the ones that are already for windows PC. Much like hacking the PS3 to use the linux to emluate windows and playing windows apps. I think we should distinguish the two, and i only believe it relevant when the Mac eclusive games become stronger. So in the mean time it's a little too early.

[QUOTE="khamsaiumn"]Yeah, but you can't run all mac apps on windows nor all windows app for Mac, it has to be designed for both. Like for instance, what if the 360 had a blu-ray drive. then because of the disc space on blu-ray developers can put both the 360 and ps3 on the same disc. with your question: "Can you play PS3 games on 360? Or wii ones on ps3?" PC and Macs are the samething. You can't always play pc games on macs. AdrianWerner

You can install Windows in Intel Macs and it will run almost as good as on PC and you will be able to play almost all games, just like you can install OSX on PC and play the few Mac-only games on your PC. They're bassicaly the same format now for games

Macs hardware is PC, only the OS differs

But that means a game console is a game console therefore we shouldn't distinguish them. PS3 and 360 play the same games in similar fashion.

Can you play PS3 games on 360? Or wii ones on ps3? Exacly

Now Macs even have the same parts inside them as PCs. You can install Windows on Mac and OSX on PC, they're both personal computer systems.

Anyway obviously Windows is better choice. it still has ten times more games for it than macOS and even the games Mac is getting are released with huge delays most of the time.

So with the arrival of decent games to the Mac OS X should we distinguish those players from the windows PC players? Even though they are similar so are the consoles and they each have a special name associated with them. What's your take?

Yep, this is when nintendo was very cocky. But i understand why nintendo did it and why Sony got so mad. But i guess it worked out in the end because look at all the great games the PS1&PS2 had, although we also lost the dreamcast, but i'm not contributing the lost due to sony.

Yeah my psp battery went dead and only the power cord works now. But i don't plan to invest in another battery because im gonna need the power cord anyways. It would be nice so that can listen to music, but not worth buying another battery.
