How can i claim on my warrenty for the controller?

My 360 controller has just stop working when i press the guide button nothing happens, i have just recently brought myself a second controller and charger kit thing. I was just wondering is my controller in warrenty? I have had my xbox since Dec/Nov last year. If its in warrenty do i need to phone who ever up? or do i go to the shop that sold me my console and take the controller in?

How often does this thing usually happen? is the controller surpose to last longer?

I was going to leave it for a while as it might be because i've left it on charge for a few hours

P.S I have tried the charger kit on the other controller works fine and have even put batteries in

Well I've been looking at a few sci-fi statergy games such as eve online, sins of solar empire, homeworld and i have to say
they all look really great with space ships etc...

I haven't looked at any gameplay nor have I read anything so I've only seen pictures and they look like you controll a space ship
and fight enemie space ships?

So I want to write a far few game reviews and I started but I see that I mostly write words that would kind of sum the game up and then realize that my reviews seem the same.

I followed IGNs review score system how the sum up each section 'game play, presentation and so forth'

I obviously wanted to know if I was to post a review for a game that just uses IGNs review score system would seem incomplete without talking about the game.

Hard to explain but when I talk about the game I don't know what to talk about without talking too much.

I always see people going on about how much this game has sold over this x amount of time and for the consoles how many have been sold with but never any site that collects this data apart from wiki that kind of sometimes has it.
