WHAT IS A CD KEY AND WHERE CAN I FIND IT?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.

The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

Opposing Force CD-keys cannot be registered through Steam. Opposing Force was included in a retail Half-Life package. The Half-Life CD-key included in the package will unlock all of the games in that package, including Opposing Force.

Note:Only the retail third-party games listed above can be registered through Steam. No other third-party games can be registered and downloaded using Steam.

4GB is fine, until games start being made in TRUE 64-Bit fashion they aren't even going to be able to access anything above 4GB. That is the limitation of 32-bit gaming. Even if you have 24GB of RAM, a 32-Bit game is only going to be able to access 4GB, which may also encompass the memory that the OS is using.

I would pick up the PSU ravenguard90 suggested. You should also get a CPU cooler like, whatever his name, suggested. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on it, you could get a Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2.

I'm talking about THE MOTHERBOARD HEAT SINK FAN. The one your asking us about. Not your CPU heat sink....

Does it attach to the top of the heatsink, near the CPU, or the bottom, near the PCI-E slots?

If it attaches near the CPU, can you attach on the heat sink near the PCI-E slots?

Killerchese is pointing out that the heatsink will cover the memory modules when it has been installed. In other words, you won't be able to access your memory modules once the heatsink has been installed.

I've installed the D14 on the Maximus II Formula (P45), and encountered the same issue with the memory. And judging by the spacing of the DIMM slots with the processor socket on the Maximus Formula, you're gonna encounter the same issue once you install it.

So again, we're not questioning the compatibility of the heatsink with your motherboard, we're only pointing out that you will not be able to access a couple of your DIMM slots once the heatsink has been installed.

Which in turn means, if you have something installed in those slots and you ever feel like upgrading your RAM, you will have to remove the heatsink first. Which to me sounds like a lot of trouble to just change out the RAM.

It does show settings used and even the laptop that they were in if you mouse over the details and click on the FPS.

But what if it is both the CPU and motherboard? The only way to tell is to have both a CPU AND motherboard handy so that you can test the CPU in the new motherboard and the new CPU in the motherboard.

You don't need to spend the extra money to get yourself a new quad core. Your fine as it is. I only justified my expense of $600+$400 for two i7 920 and two X58 motherboards because I do HD encoding, 3D modeling and like to run multi-servers for games that I play.

Having two i7 machines lets we do one project on one machine while the other is rendering or encoding data.

There isn't much you can do unless you have a new motherboard to test out with or a new CPU.

Other than that your kind of SOL.
