Yawn, another cruddy Sonic game, style over substance, anyone else think SEGA should just stop making games.

He has a point, out of all the gaming devices I own (360/Wii/DS) the one i would play the most games on would be my iPhone (Currently FF1 and Earthworm Jim). Cheap plus portable gaming equals a problem for Nintendos handheld stranglehold.

For me its a 360, it has the games me and my friends play the most. Plus it has better online features IMHO.

I suppose it'll be relevant to those trying to make the object of their affection look like "teh winner" until new shiney consoles come out andit starts all over again.

Other than that the only real news relevant are:

Nintendo is still a dominant force to be reckoned with, long after many had declared them irrelevant and heading towards oblivion.

Microsoft is a serious competitor in the gaming industry, even though pundits declared them a failure a generation ago.

Sony isn't invincible, depite the analysts that claimed differently, and finds itself in a real competition for the first time since they entered the market over 15 years ago.

...and you're right. Most people could have figured these out a couple years ago.
