I say it was the original XBOX, for thy reasons:

-The graphics for that time were amazing

-The games were well balanced, challenging yet very addicting (For most, because as any console there was horrible games)

-The console didn't melt, over heat or any problems really. It was solid and also were the controllers.

-The used, in the end, the full potential of the console.

-The controllers were built for real men, big controllers that you can grip and chuck on the ground if you ever lost, or even if you wanted to hit your friends with one you could without breaking the controller. But then they also had to release a smaller controller for those little people.

-The technology was very innovative, unlike the consoles of today.
