Who wants to play outdoors, I mean, do you have the time to sit down, relax and play your favorite games from console when you are outside. This is just a complete joke, almost nobody does that. It's like everyone are playing games for a living. This is why the buzz on the mobility aspect is a waste of time and this is why nobody pushes it forward. You have mobile phones for casual games on the go, there is not need for consoles to become like it, although in time they will, but right now this technology to bring that power into a mobile device is very expensive.
Bottom line, there is not need to the mobility of the switch, it's a waste of time and Nintendo should have come up with a mower powerful machines, allowing developers to have more creating freedom, rather than limiting them because of the inferior computing power of that Switch devices. The only good reason to have a mobile console is when you fly abroad and want to take it with you to play games while in the hotel and stuff. This industry sometimes living in a dream and I have no idea who is the person who is responsible for making decisions like that. Nintendo Switch is a mistake, but it will be a popular mistake because the way people get emotionally attached to brands and how so efficient marketing is. It's not just that the technology becomes very smart and efficient, so does that technology and psychology in marketing is continue to evolve and it influences you without you even knowing that. A down-to-earth person wouldn't even look at the Switch and move on.
@ExoticCharm: It seems everyone is worshiping him nowadays, kind of a god for gamers, but to be honest, I really like the guy and he is very talented, he deserve the appreciation.
The main problem with this game is that it doesn't create enough diversity in terms of tactical gameplay. This is why it's boring to watch and gets boring to play really fast. I played the beta and gave three keys to friends. The all loved it overall, but agree that they don't see themselves buying the game. In shooters for example, the relatively fast movement speed, positioning, group gameplay and tactical thinking makes every game feels different and unique. Some games even have "Stories" to tell.
This is why gameplay videos of FPS games are so popular on YouTube, games like Overwatch and Battlefield videos look like a good TV series, each one has its own story and those games are both entertaining to watch and fun to play at the same time.
I've really wanted that game to shine. I did approach this game with understanding that a melee game like this can get boring pretty fast, but I gave it a lot of hours. I did enjoy playing with and against friends, but at the end of the day, it just showed me how good a team-base player game like Overwatch is and I just wanted to get back to Overwatch and have fun again. So I'll pass, but thanks for the keys, I really appreciate Ubisoft releasing a beta. I hope many people will find this game fun because it's really a unique game.
