I think it will be awhile yet but costs are quite steadily rising.

And a few things have come up, you know its taken the videogame industry a fraction of the time it took the film industry to become a billion dollar industry cinema has been going for decades but it only took the games industy just over twenty years to make it.

But dosn't this also mean the decline will be coming much sooner to?

Costs of developing are becoming so high that soon its going to take a hell of alot of sales to recoup the costs, I mean we are almost seeing it with MGS4 ok its going to manage it due to the massivly expanding user base of the PS3 but still its got to sell 1 million copies on day one.

Its getting to the point where costs to purchase are going to have to get bigger this is worry for me it could spell the begining of a recision in the games industry which I dont like to think about im just wondering how long you guys think its going to be before all of this occurs?
