Except that you're incapable of being objective. Everyone knows GeoW1 & 2 look better than that washed in oil look of Uncharted. Btw 80% of poeple think uncharted looks better polls dnt lie and if think im lying make a poll see who wins.

Actually gears 2 does look like that.Gears 2 looks all nasty and blurry close up because your never going to be that close. You see gears 2 is built around smoke and mirrors (wich doesnt matter as long as your eyes are happy)the nastyness you see there normal mapped details are lower resolution and are pixelating,that's wut your seing. The blur is a gaussian blur that the U3 uses to fake better lighting/fx.Its a cheap way of doing motion blur when you hardware cant handle individual motion vectors per object like uncharted can.Graphically you wont find any dev community that thinks that the U3 engine is capable of running 1/2 of wut uncharted runs on screen,in the resolution and within the framerate , srry man. The details on all gears charector models are normal maps whil drake has pockets and actual belts/bullets on him.....Btw did this help?
