well, i just finished xenosaga episode one. i think it has one of the best endings that i've seen in a while. it does leave many loose ends though. now i have to wait until episode 2 decreases in price so i can continue the series. schion and chaos were kicking butt at the end of my game.
i think my next rpg will have more customizible magic/skills. i really liked how in ff3 you could learn different spells (and keep them) by equiping different rings. i want to play something similar to that. maybe i'll play ffvii, even though the spells stay with the materia instead of the person. it's almost the only final fantasy that i haven't played. when it came out, it just looked so different from ffiii (vi in japan) that i just wasn't interested then.
i went to gamestop today to see if they had a decent copy of final fantasy vii (the only one i didn't have). well, i ended up having about 1.5 hours to waste before meeting some friends at the movie theatre. i did buy a used copy for a little more than i wanted to pay, but it ended up being a non-greatest hits version in almost mint condition with the color artwork. i also bought arc the lad and metroid prime for 9.99 each.
well, i'm going to try to finish xenosaga now. i went into the 3rd to last boss unprepared last night, which was not the best idea.
i'm starving and i ordered from papa johns about an hour ago. i'm so hungry i could eat glass. i'm writing and surfing around gamespot to distract myself from the time. the plan for tonight is to eat, take a shower, and finish shadow hearts. i just want to level my last few characters up for the pit fights, and then i can finish the game. i haven't had a lot of time to play lately b/c of graduation parties, a birthday party, and 2 going away parties for the same guy (w/ different people at each party though). where..............is......................pizza?!?!?!?!? agh!!!!
well, i'm almost done with shadow hearts, and i'm trying to decide which of my rpg's to start next. i kinda want to play a short one in case i have to move. my choices are:
or i could just finish legend of legaia, but it takes so long to level up and beat bosses. feel free to leave your opinions.

i got back from my mom's the other night, and now i have a cold....again. maybe it was the festival that i went to. either way, i was supposed to go to see the hitchiker's guide to the galaxy at 1:20 w/ my friend who is moving to england in 2 weeks, and i can't go. i want to be able to go out tomorrow night for going away party #1 with people from my hometown, so i'm going to try to take a nap and get better.
on the other hand, i am catching up on my video game playing.

so, after 160 hours, i finally finished ffx. the sidequests took me about 120 hours, and i didn't even finish them all. those sidequests were way to hard for people that are good at strategy and not good at hand-eye coordination. i'm thinking about writing a review on it when i have more time.
i'm now playing shadow hearts, which i'm enjoying very much. i really like playing in real places like europe and asia. the only thing is that you can't mindlessly level up b/c you have to pay attention to the judgement wheel on each character's turn. i decided to play this game b/c shadow hearts: covenant should be down to $20 soon (before xenosaga ii), and i heard sh is only about 35 hours with sidequests. hopefully, i can finish it before i have to move (if i ever get a job).
i still haven't finished legend of legaia. i'm finding that the time it takes to gain levels is way too long. and now i have to collect expensive bread to put in chests.

this sucks. i've got a cold that may be turning into strep. my throat feels a lot better though, so it may be just a cold. i got it from a friend that came to visit and see some parades last weekend. he had been sick and hadn't finished taking his antibiotics. grrr. i missed one of my favorite parades on wednesday, and it turns out the go-go's were in the parade. i was trying to sleep until noon today, so i would feel all right for endymion tonight, which is one of the big parades. i woke up at 7:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. i'm probably not going to bacchus tomorrow b/c it's supposed to rain and it's at the same time as the superbowl. i'm hoping to feel better tonight, but if i don't i guess i'd better stay home and try to recuperate for monday night and tuesday.
