hey y'all!

i hope everyone had a great holiday. i just got back from my mom's after 2 weeks of no gaming. i only got one game for xmas as a gift which was final fantasy chronicles. my mom doesn't realize that i have a ps2 or a gamecube, which is ok. anyway, after xmas there was a sale at toys'r'us on all games under 19.99. i'm pretty poor right now, so i told myself that i could only get 2 games (for $30). i went intending to buy xenosaga and one other game. well, xenosaga was only $12.98 when i asked. they also had ssx tricky for the gc for $9.99 (what the back doesn't tell you is that it takes 27 blocks of memory, which i don't have free right now. ugh!!!). well, i had a $15 check (from the gc that i bought) for any new gc game, and if the game didn't cost $15, then they had to give me the difference in cash. i used this on xenosaga, and therefore, i only had to pay about $10 out of my own money. whoo-hoo!!!!

I'M PLAYING FINAL FANTASY X!!!!!
I bought it last night at eb games for 9.99. It's so pretty. I'm still partial to the old 2 dimension games because that's what I started final fantasy on. Unfortunately, I'm stuck at a desk for a few more hours. I like the sphere system of levelling up. I'd be curious to see the international version where you can make your characters have any skills early on.

i almost bought a copy of wild arms 3 for 9.99 also, but when i looked at it, it looked like someone had eaten their dinner off of it. i'm supposed to be playing legends of legia anyway.

Well, I just bought two new ps2 games. Unfortunately, I have to wait for them to be shipped. :cry: I ordered Shadow Hearts (the first one) and Karaoke Revolution 3!!!! :P I've given my mom my christmas list. The games on it are mostly to complete my Final Fantasy Collection. I'm missing the 2 most popular ones and Final Fantasy Chronicles. I'm also asking for an SSX game.

well, i played legend of legaia all day. it has a interesting story line, but i'm getting tired of fighting to level up my characters. it takes a while. it seems like you run into monsters all the time, but they don't give you much experience (or not enough considering the amount you need to level up).

also, i wanted to post some reviews tonight on final fantasy iii and okage, but i couldn't b/c i can't seem to gain any levels. so i thought i'd write this journal. well, that's it for now. good night.
