I tried that already and still no connection to the internet or xboxlive

i cant get a connection to the internet with my computer either if the router is hooked up

the router is wired and i doublechecked everything like you said

i want to be able to play xbox live and my brother be on my computer so i bought a router and hooked it up to my modem but every time i go on xbox live or the internet there is no connection.

any idea whats hapenning or what i could do to fix this problem
