Yes we know neither is on pc.. your point? I game on all systems, but pc a little more... but Im just saying these games are blowing me away so far, simply awesome!

1) takes about 8-12 hours...depending on how good you are at games. I suggest playing on the hardest difficulty, take your time, and try to find all the collectibles... 2) all the enemies seem the same besides objects that aren't "alive"...inanimate things like cars..Some enemies are bigger than others. Nothing more creepy than the one before it. They will all keep you on the edge of your seat, since they like to come up behind you and attack you. 3) Yes, there are bosses, if you count large amount of those taken bird things... 4) He's benevolent, but also seems angry and confused. 5) Yes, there will be other episodic DLC's to be released. The ending makes you say "huh?..."

What I was thinking when they said that "...these reviewers can't be serious...so many other games have the worst one-liners I've ever heard...Alan Wake can't be that bad." But I'm glad to hear that you think it's not, cause I didn't wanna buy this game and have it be ruined by some stupid one-liners throughout the game. Barry Wheeler is really funny and later in the game when he's more distressed it becomes apparent he's voiced by the same guy as Vinny Gognitti from Max Payne series. Idk if this has been mentioned yet. Actually theres a TON of throw back tie ins to max payne for the old fans. Oh man I didn't notice that! He sounds kinda different though. I felt so bad for Vinny G. in Max Payne 2 when he was in the captain baseball bat costume with the explosives in the head. Poor, poor Vinny....
I gotta find some clips of Barry now to see if i can hear his voice.

Was it just because it was a Rockstar game? I'm not saying it will be bad, but what's so special about it that Game Informer decided to give it a 9.75? I had no interest in this game, but with a score that high I'll have to at least check it out.

The game is basically GTA IV in the wild west with cowboys. If you love GTA IV you are going to love this game. If you didn't like GTA you are probably not going to like this game. Not true. I hate GTA, but this game looks awesome. This game isn't just GTA with horses. It's something completely different (besides both of them being open world). RDR has so much more to offer than GTA, and it seems way more realistic.
