RELIEF! Sort of...

Good news: I've been outbid! I'm still kinda sad because I relly wanted to get Kingdom Hearts 2 and a bunch of other games I've wanted over the past 7 years, but I know that I wouldn't have gotten a chance to play them anyway.

With that off of my chest, now all that's left is to concentrate on getting out of high school before January 15! All that stands in my way are 13 writing assignments.  I just have to concetrate.  Man, it's going to be hard to stay off of this site... I'll check back anyway.  Gotta take breaks to avoid burnout, right?

Um, I think I just bought a PS2...uh oh...

So I was on Ebay like four days ago and decided to bid on a used PS2 that is supposedly in "Near Mint" condition.  Because all the surrounding consoles were going out around $80, I decided to try my luck and put in a $55 bid.  However, earlier today I saw one going out (alright, I didn't watch the bid war that followed) for $30 with only three bidders.

Now, while I did bid on it, there seems to be nothing wrong with the seller, and I am dying to get a PS2, there's one catch.  I don't have anywhere to put it or anytime to play it.  Since I SHOULD be looking for a place to stay and a college that will give me money to go to their school, I really don't have any room in my time or fiscal budget to get a new game console.  In the meantime, I can only hope that someone wants that PS2 for about $60 so I don't have to tell my parents that I squandered my money behind their backs again.

Anyway, that's my lament of the day.  If anyone reads this, please pray that God inspires me to write words that will impress my Eng 1302 professors. :?

Sigh...I actually say "sigh"

Well, Christmas '06 has come and gone, and there just two more days until '07 begins.  I'm really not feeling all that motivated or even feeling great.  Oh well, you probably don't want to hear me complaining.  I haven't been sick at all like I usually am around the holidays.  There's a good thing.

I'm afraid that if I want to play all my fancy PC games I'm going to have to just buy a whole new computer to play them on.  Therefore, I probably won't be playing any of those games any time soon.  I really don't have time to play games, but it passes the time quicker.

I've suddenly gotten the urge to buy a Playstation 2.  Besides my phone and PC, the latest playing consoles I have are an NES and a Gameboy Color.  Yeah, don't have many good graphics or games.  So I'm thinking, since the PS2 is on its way out, maybe I can finally pick up a console for under $75 along with a bunch of games.  I was thinking maybe starting a collection of all the games that I've found I really liked on my friends' consoles over the past 7 years...

Anyway, thanks for dropping by.  Tomorrow is my one-year registered Gamespot member anniversary.  Hooray.  Anyway, peace out.

One day to go...

This year I've bought all of my own gifts.  I figure, hey, if I'm already at the store or on ebay, and whatever I want is either half-price for the time being or is about to go out really cheap, why not?  I've already picked Marvel Ultimate Alliance and a new cell phone on ebay, and I've got my first USB game controller for the first time ever.

The problem with the Marvel game is that my computer's graphic card isn't high enough (ran into the same problem with Lego Star Wars).  My sister has a good enough graphics card, but I figure I'll have to wait anyone to play it, so I'll just wait until this one crashes and I have to get a new computer.

The main problem with getting a new cell phone is that all the games from the old phone don't transfer, so I have to buy new games.  The graphics on my new Switch_back are a whole lot better than my old K10 Royale (Virgin Mobile user).  I'm also getting used to the camera and keyboard that came with it.

As for the game controller, I'm still a little awkward with it.  I have always preferred the D-pad, maily because that's the only thing I've had to work with my entire life.  However, now that I've gotten the chance to use it, I see why so many people recommend it over the keyboard.  I still prefer the keyboard, but that may change with some more practice.

Anyway, that's my current ramblings.  Love to talk with anyone who wants to, so leave a comment and I'll probably respond somehow.

My first walkthrough!

This is my first blog to celebrate my first submitted walkthrough.  I am no longer a bystander who uses this site to monitor games; I am officially joining the ranks of the gamers.  Yeah, yeah, whatever.

Anyway, I've noticed that I've had this account for nearly a year.  It's great talking with other people that I don't know, even if the relationships don't last very long.  Maybe especially because the relationships don't last very long.

Oh well, better get back to my real homework.  Man, writing a 20 page walkthrough: fun. Writing several 2000 word essays for advanced college rhetoric: killer.  Pray for me, everybody.
