Valencia is the European GP... But, Hungary, Barcelona, Valencia are for definite that need to go, there is just nothing with them.
China and Malaysia are also ones I would look at, But Malaysia is quite alright if the cars were less aero reliant. Singapore as much as I'd hate to say it should go, unless these cars again were less aero reliant
But the first 3 Definetly need to go.
The Caparo is based on almost the same principles as single seatered racers, but for the road, although the similarties are the same, one thing hugely stands out in my view, the wheels are closed off, Why? Any aerodynamcist may tell you, Wheels are huge pain in the ass of aero designers, again, why? because they are a moving object in shape and motion, they create a vortex of air on their own, and this distorts the air designed to go over the car, this is why they are closed off, so now the aero for this thing can work purely to its design and make the car work.
KA, i'm sure can shed more light on this :)
Niki crashed in the 70's, I really urge you to look up 80s and 90s stuff, beacuse it'll open your eyes a lot more to what F1 was like and what it should still be today, F1 cars are fast around a lap for sure, but fast with each other? yes, But can they compete? no, Aerodynamics forbids this beacause cars cannot follow each other in closer racing unless in wet conditions. Look up 1986-1997 racing of F1
best time period for F1
[QUOTE="kipi19"]You wouldn't need too, The carbon fibre cockits are immensly strong unlike the old days, E.G Alex Zanardi's accident in indycars, Michael's accident at Silverstone in 2000, Safety has gone on leaps and bounds, Engine sheilding and Fireproof overalls are top of the range as well, putting old designs back in with old designed tracks but with today's safety standards, you'd see some amazing racing.

But you said that you missed all the danger and that the drivers are too safe.
I assumed that you wanted the drivers to be less safe in their car which led me to saying that they would have to reduce the speed of the cars to counter this.
The cars are fine to be honest, My only problem with the cars is that there is just far too much aerodynamic grip on them that its just too easy to drive them, I very much welcome back the ground effect rule they wanna bring back, cus all this downforce is just ruining the racing in my view, I wanna see much more racing like Kobayashi pulled off in suzuka on a regular basis.
Cars in the 80s early 90s were at their fastest with the turbo engines pumping out 1200hp, but they were never as fast round a track as these cars now, top 190mph on the straights most of the time and going 20secs odd faster just due down to aerodynamic grip, thats what i want stripped off the cars
Get rid of run off areas, and bring back Mechanical grip, THEN, we'll be racing :)

In a sense, yes.
Drivers are farrrr too wrapped up in cotton wool nowadays with all these run offs etc, These cars are safe as houses and thats been proven by Robert Kubica a few years ago, Drivers need to have some fear put back into them cus its too easy for them nowadays, and I agree with Raynimrod, I miss the old days, less restrictions, let the teams go hell for leather to beat each other.
DNF'd in the end, a puncture speared me off into a wall =/ Was losing a 1.5secs a lap to the top guys on the hard tyres.
