And this is even before i've set the car up to take it out on track in P1... Grrrr
*sigh*, Driver is as only as good as the car he is given, Sometimes drivers can excel in a not so great car, Schumacher did it with his Benneton in 1994, Same with 1995 when Damon never capatilised on his awesome Williams, Lewis did the same in his McLaren last year towards the end of the year.
Other instances can be found in the past, But more often than not, if the car is a dog, then the driver can only do so much to keep it on the straight and narrow.
Renault's managing director Bob Bell has left the Anglo-French squad, the team announced on Wednesday.
His duties have been assigned to Eric Boullier in addition to the Frenchman's responsibilities as team principal.
Bell joined Renault in its former guise of Benetton in 1997 as chief aerodynamicist, and after a brief stint at Jordan he returned to Enstone and became technical director, playing a key role in Renault's back-to-back championship successes with Fernando Alonso in 2005-06.
Following the race-fixing scandal that forced the departure of Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds last autumn, Bell was appointed stand-in team principal until Boullier's arrival at the beginning of this year.
Renault F1 chairman Gerard Lopez said: "We would like to thank Bob Bell for his contribution to the performance of the team and for helping see us through a period of transition since Genii Capital became a shareholder in the Renault F1 Team.
"We are entrusting the post of managing director to Eric Boullier and we have every confidence that, under his leadership, we will achieve our racing objectives.
"Throughout the 2010 season, we have been assessing what is required to continue improving our level of competitiveness and we believe we are well positioned for the challenges ahead."
Boullier said Renault had already made great progress in 2010 and thanked the French car manufacturer for showing its faith in him.
"Since the beginning of the season, the Renault F1 Team has demonstrated its ability to react to a need for change," he said.
"The results of the tremendous efforts made have been immediately apparent on the race track.
"Today, we have a competitive car and an incredibly motivated team.
"I am proud of the trust being placed in me to continue this good work, and I will make every effort to ensure the Renault F1 Team returns to the front of the grid as soon as possible."

Money is all well and good, BUT, you need to have the people, right rescouces, and the teamwork and drivers to pull the team forward.
Jarno and Heikki for lotus, both previous race winners no matter how you look at it, One rookie-ish and one veteran, both exactly what a new team need to progress further, plus a lot of ambition to make sure they succeed.
Timo and Lucas for Virgin? Time i've sometimes rated, but is never consistant and Lucas is a fresh rookie, not what I'd want, i'd want someone a lil more seasoned before a new team came in
And Hispania... need i say more really, Shoddy operation, Both drivers cannot do anything with their car, Both are highly rated drivers too, but are caught in a team where the car is worse handling than a puppy on a polished kitchen floor =/

This is interesting, With Renault engines, Red Bull Gear box and Hydraulics, All they need now is a good design of the car for next year and I reckon they can move up the field a fair bit :)
Its the reason I never took racing up, I couldn't afford, I caught the eye of a few people when I was cadet karting when I was 9-10, but never had any financial backing.
If you not got the dosh, you not gonna go nowhere, its as simple as that, Ask F1 teams and they can point you in the right direction and the MSA here in the UK, but thats my two cents.
