Right, I know i've not been around much recently due to work and college commitements but i have a fair few points to make from this Monaco GP on a few things. Here's as follows.
TV, Its been pointed out in earlier posts about the TV coverage of accidents, I fully agree with this statement, I know the the broadcasters have no control over the cameras at the circuit as these are under FOM control and its a universal picture which is shown through the TV, but the directors have lost their way, Hulkenberg, Barrichello and, Jarno and Karun, these are big accidents that needed to be cut to, to provide the viewer with a sense of action of the sport, its been done in years previous, why not now?
Webber, Words can't describe how amazed I am at this fellow, he is just supreme at the moment and I am questioning whether Sebastien will have any answer for him in the coming races, Blitzing the field in 8 days and two races is just astonishing and just proving like what a lot of people said about Jenson in the past "Give him the car and he will deliver" this is just that point being proven
Trulli and Chandok, Just... What the ****. Seriously, I know that Jarno can be a fiery character but there was no need for this manouvre full stop, I doubt anything will happen cus of it but in my eyes it was an avoidable accident and dangerous to himself, Karun, Marshalls and spectators, I'm glad that Karun is alright and am happy the testament of these cars gets proven once again. But I still see this as pure recklessness on Trulli's part and believe he should be punished in a fashion seen worthy of his crime as it were
Alonso and Schumacher, If the written rule states that Michael is wrong then we have nothing to complain about, but the rules were changed for 2010 and this new safety car line was put in, I will agree with the guys in saying that if the FIA are stating what they are stating, then its a pointless procedure, If I saw green flags and lights which to me indicates "Floor it" then i would do exactly that, If the race is meant to finish under safety car conditions but have no safety car, then whats the frickin point!? they should let it lead over the line with the yellow flags and SC boards if they write the rule that way, it should of been amended for 2010, The FIA brought it on themselves, and as much as i have never been much of a Schumi fan, Kudos to the quick thinking and oppotunistic driving.
