In testing sessions i've noticed that Ferrari run some sort "thing" from the top of the airbox, what is this that they run? and does it not affect their Aero efficiency when driving the car?

I think that the old Nurgburgring is impossible to race on with modern F1 cars, the track could use the existing tracks pits on the circuit they use now, but thats it, The old Nordschliefe would need to be resurfaces i reckon, thousands of marshalls to partol the circuit and updated safety areas. Would be impossible in days like today.

Its hard to say to be honest, i hope that something happens to him, he should not be allowed in power anymore after the way he has been discreditted, the FIA needs a decent role model, and the son of a Nazi lover is not the way to go.

David Coulthard has named Sebastian Vettel as his preferred successor at Red Bull Racing when he retires from Formula 1 competition at the end of this season.

Coulthard announced last Thursday that he will bring down the curtain on his 15-year career following the season-ending
Brazilian Grand Prix, although he will stay on at RBR as a consultant and development driver.

With Mark Webber having already signed a one-year extension to his contract, there is just one vacancy at the Milton Keynes-based squad for 2009.

Vettel has impressed with his exploits for Red Bull's 'B' team Toro Rosso this year and is widely tipped for promotion to the senior squad.

Coulthard, who apologised to Vettel after crashing into him on the first lap of the British Grand Prix, believes the German charger has huge potential and a maturity beyond his 21 years.

"For me Sebastian Vettel has everything that a future winner in Formula 1 needs," Coulthard said in an interview with the official F1 website.

"Also his maturity and approach shows me that he is the best man for the job.

"So I am very confident that he would be able to do a very good job for Red Bull Racing."
