[QUOTE="Im_single"]I'm going in for a septoplasty in November, not as bad as rhinoplasty but I'll relay my experience.Thessassin
whats that?
also TC, your nose isnt big at all, its normal or even a bit small from what i can see, but maybe its just a good pic idk. From what i see i suggest you just see a psych instead of a surgeon because it will be easier and cheaperto fix your image issues rather than fix a nose.
[QUOTE="kipohippo021"][QUOTE="rawsavon"] So you honestly think an untrained HS student with a chest defect will provide better help than a trained professional...come on now I am going to be straight with you. I think you know you are wrong but don't want to admit it...you have flip-flopped quite a number of times in this thread But that is just my thoughts on this exchangerawsavon
Im somone with first hand experience with being self consious about a deformity. And i can tell him that its better and worth it to just get over it, the surgery isnt worth it, especially because of his normal looking nose. Thats better advice than any trained proffesional can give. I have a deformity, but i got over it, and now im happy. How is my condition not releavent? What advice would you have given? My thoughts havent changed, care to explain? You have flip-flopped worse than a fish out of water  Your first point was how wasteful it was...then you said, "Im not saying its wastefull"...then you went back to saying it was -don't make me dig up the plethora of quotes. You are wrong b/c you are not the standard bearer for deformities...your issues are not even the same...like someone with liver cancer talking to someone with skin cancer. You assume he has the same mental issues. You assume this surgery would not fix his issues. You assume he has body issues...you assume too much We are all individuals. Your experience with a deformity =/= someone else's My professional advice could not be given over the internet...it would require knowing a lot more about TC (though it is obvious this thread was not legit...so we are talking about an imaginary case). Your advice is placed on so many levels. I say its waste if he dosent have the money, if he does, i say that he still shouldnt, he could get over it. And if he has the money to just spend on plastic surgery, then he should be able donate some to a good cause. If i had money to spend like that, id do the same. But i dont. And whats not similar about our situations? (imaginary as his might be) I have a deformity, he has one, people see it, we feel bad. Thats my experience and its tc's, i got over it. So my advice to tc is to get over it. It worked for me, so i imagine it would work for him as we have similar conditions as far as im aware. I cant give perfect advice, and neither can you. I gave it the best i could and you decide to jump on me.
