* Halo Wars *
my quaint little post was actually a mini-commentary on the notion of gamer expectations within the realm of big money-making franchises. where must the developer draw the line before the wider world of gamers declare that the developer has begun "milking the concept?" but for that matter, consumer opinion is such a mixing pot of ideals, values, and expectations, what exactly defines a certain game as "good" or "bad?" and is a game good (or bad) by necessity or by convention? are perhaps our meager means of identifying certain prevailing trends within technology and entertainment insufficient for the task at hand, or perhaps these "trends" are in effect simply constructs of our own, set in motion by the powerful forces of free market capitalism? alas, we may never know for certain, but to an extent, i believe these myriad problems may at length be solved! as immanuel kant pointed out in his 1781 classic critique of pure reason, "and it was...duty...to destroy the illusions which had their origin in misconceptions, whatever darling hopes and valued expectations may be ruined by its explanations."
in summation: triple wielding in halo4 plz bungie
