If streaming does not come in next 4-5 years, there will be a new Sony console. I think he is just saying there will be upgrades...maybe a new console every 3 years so they can keep a PS console competitive with PC gaming. Sony would be silly to ignore the changes MS is making and moving towards PC gaming and PC gaming itself getting cheaper. A 7 year console cannot compete with a mid tier gaming PC.
Maybe MS will put out an upgradable console that runs Windows 10, so instead of buy a new console you would be buying parts. Basically a PC with no restrictions to developers like Sony will do with their 4.5 console. An Xbox upgradable console would allow for changing performance settings like a PC, so you don't have to upgrade as you can tweak with your system yourself....will see it in the coming months....the only thing I know is that MS were announcing an Xbox 1.5 and not Sony, all hell would be breaking loose by now lol.
Yep....streaming is coming...they are releasing a new version of the PS4 to ensure it goes for another 4-5 years, then they will release a streaming service as the hardware can output 4k (games will render in 4K on their servers)....
Release a freaking new console then....and upgradable. I hope MS offers a new console not this type of crap...buying this 4.5 version of the existing PS4 will only mean you will be buying ANOTHER PS console in a couple of years. Rubbish.
you guys saying W10 sucks cuz it is free or MS is desperate because it is giving it for free...just have a look at Google: pretty much everything Google offers is "free", including Android....Times have changed and MS is doing what they to do to survive, otherwise in a few years they would get out of business....
MS's message is pretty clear Windows 10 is their priority and they want it to be everywhere, fair enough...if they don't do that in a few years Apple and Google will be the two big names in technology.....side note, some of you guys are pretty funny...If you play MS games on PC your hard earned cash goes to MS, so at the end of the day there is no point in being a fanboy ....
This is just what the Xbox can do with all its games via Oculus......games HAVE to be developed to fully utilize VR features. If you wanna play amazing VR games you better save your money and buy it for Christmas 2017.
