I found NSMBW not very challenging and have beaten the game a few times and never needed the super guid solo or with a group. Honestly I find this rather useless and anyone with mario or even nintendo experience shouldn't ever have to rely on this feature. It's a good idea i beleive especially for a chance to make levels harder but they didn't seem to do this. At the same time though I'm kinda glad when playing with more people because alot of the levels become challenging with 3 or 4 people that were previously easy. So to have them hard to start with... It may have been sweet if maybe there were different levels or level variations for 1&2 players from 3&4 players. If you complain about this game being to easy then it's really fun to try and master some of the super skills. I'm having alot of fun doing this right now and can do about 5 of the harder ones and have even made some of my own. Although I have found various spots in SMB3 for infinate lives as well as being able to race through the game in only a matter of min. But I think NSMBW has the potential to do these `super skills` in way more spots and levels. I`m pretty sure they designed most of the levels around the `super skills`. And its fun if you have a few buddys and try some co-op ones too. This game is way more emphasised on mastery where as SMB and SMW seem more learning curve oriented.

So I wasn't really into mario kart wii just becuase honestly i think the *floating* wheel is really lame. but i recently saw this thing called the wireless wii wheel or something. It is sold separately and I couldn't find on the box which games it worked with. It was a mounted wheel with a brake and gas pedal and was wondering if anyone knew if you can use this for Mario Kart Wii. If so then I'm definatly picking it all up!

I have never really been into a survival horror game before and I havn't ever played the previous Silent Hill games, but the movie was BA. I watched the walkthroughs and I think i might pick this one up now. I like how it claims to adapt to YOUR playing methods and such. That sounds spooky. I love it.

NES: Started playing super mario bros when i was 3 or 4 and use to have to show my parents how to complete levels and secrets aha. didn't play smb2 till way later but that doesn't matter, it ended up being a terrible game. smb3 of course, blades of steel, 2 types of ninja turtles games, this snowboarding game that I forget the title.... final fantasy 1 was amazing although it's weird because even though I LOVED FF1 for some reason i never kept up with the series and have yet to play any others. SNES: Never owned this awesome system regrettably but I found a way to get my fair share in by playing it at friends houses, and i use to go with my mom when i was young to her 2 friends houses alot where they both had the system where I played such classics as donkey kong country 1 & 2, super mario world, street fighter, super mario rpg and the zelda game which i think was called "a link to the past"? Thanks to the VC on my wii Im finally able to play some of these classics in the comfort of my own home ;) N64: I was always a system behind and got the n64 when or right before I think the ps2 or maybe it was gamecube (Didn't get into gamecube i hated the controller) came out. Some of my favourites mario kart(found so many shortcuts and glitches that use to piss off all my friends) , dk64, super smash bros(im godly at it!) One of favs of all time being zelda-ocarina of time, majoras mask was fun too. Golden eye of course was a blast. Mario Party 1. Paper mario. Thats all i can remember atm. PS2: Like I said before I was always a system behind and got the ps2 not until again when or soon before i think it was the ps3 came out. There were some fun games but nothing really special for me to talk about. Played some grand theft autos and some dbz games and that was it. Wii: Just recently purchased a wii. mario party 8 as well as super paper mario were a huge let down for me. super smash brawl is hard to get use to the new feeling but im trying to get use to it and see if i like it. Super Mario Bros Wii is alot of fun. Some games Im looking to buy are.... okami, zedla TP, apparently theres a new zelda game on its way too I hear so im stoked for that. dragonball-revenge of king picollo, and mario galaxy as well as MG2 if I like the first one. I'm gonna buy it cause its mario and has good reveiws but iunno... I'm scared i'll think its too weird playing my heroic plumber in space and not like it. I also want to try modern warfare with the wii gun. I'm usually against fps away from the computer but this could be fun.

I agree with what has been said, it relied way to heavily if not 100 percent on just combining smb1, 3, and smw. Which before I bought it was really excited about that aspect because I am more of a classic game fan and was glad to see a new game coming out sticking to its roots because way too often I've seen games come out in a series that should do more of that. Although having beaten it several times now I wish they had been more creative in newer ideas. Having found all the secrets so easily its left me wanting more. While I find the game to be extremely fun I think I'm most upset with the lack of secrets. Especially being the star world which they copied off of smw and imo failed miserably. Having a "secret world" that opens when you beat the game is not very secret at all considering beating the game is what your supose to do. duh. I liked the smw version waaaaaaay better where it could be used as a shortcut to various areas of the world. Also I was pretty rattled when I got all the star coins to the "secret world" excited to be rewarded tremendously when all I got was some extra stupid star emblem for the save file. The whole yoshi thing kinda sucks too how you can't carry him from level-to-level. The warp system too imo is pretty weak as well. Although I don't get the argument about the suits to the game. I think the suits are rad in this game. SMW was way worse for this. The only new addition was a cape. And though it was awesome that's only 1! In NSMBW you have a new addition to the flying suits being the chopper suit wich i think is pretty BA. I definatly think the chopper suit hangs in there with the raccoon, cape, and even tanooki. you also got the penguin, ice flower, and tiny suit which are also good. The things I really like about this game is the co-op play which in itself just makes it an entirely different game. I also like how they planned levels for the 'super skills' which is really fun to learn and do. Im really into that. All in all although i've had alot of negative points i've brought up I still do beleive its a wicked must have for anyone who enjoyed SMB1, SMB3, (wtf were they thinking with SMB2 btw) or SMW but makes me wonder what nintendo could of done if they went into this project whole-heartedly.

first off what's the difference between the Kuribo's shoe and the boot suit? I thought they were the same :s It's not really my fav but its up there is the tiny suit in nsmbw.I love just floating through the levels with that thing. Figure id give it some props too, nobodys said anything about that yet. On a similar topic what GAME do you guys think is better for having the coolest suits in it? my votes for smb3. the boot suit, raccoon, tanooki, hammer bros. c'mon.
