[QUOTE="odisho68"]might pick this up instead of killzone 2 after allAlexSays
Not sure why you'd make that mistake.
Yeah because the first Killzone got such great reviews , such proved gaming pedigree in order to make that statement.
It's for the wii -- I'm not interested :(
When it comes out for a real console, then we'll talk.
Should have left it on the PS3 IMO. Ahh well, with any luck, the next one will be. thanks to the "no more exclusives" clause from Capcom.

Truly the stupidest thing I've heard this week, look foward to seing more regular Japanese game series on the. Grow up and get over it, the Wii plays games so its real console.
I would say its more of a re-make then a straight port, or at-least a re-make/port. I only played the PS2 original a little bit once a few years ago on my friends PS2, and I thought it was good. Also the impression that IGN gave it seemed positive, plus I like what the hands-on said about the control. That you mainly attack using buttons while using motion for mainly finishers, therefore keeping excessive motions to a minimum, sort of like NMH which I like.
As for the graphics, well I like the hero redesign and I like also the new enemies and the graphics do look a little better then the PS2 version, also the price is set at $39.99 making a tempting offer. All it needs now is the original arcade and NES version as unlockable games and then we are set. As for criticisms over being originally a PS2 game, well IGN compared it to Ninja Gaiden Black as being the definitive version. Well I agree with that, I would also compare it to Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 which was Ninja Gaiden Black from the Xbox ported or re-made for the PS3 with few more features. Despite being a PS3 version of an Xbox game it still got good reviews and PS3 owners where happy and satisfied with the game.
Meaning, that if this turns out to be a good game and you haven't played or owned the PS2 original, then you should at-least consider trying this game out, before totally dismissing it. Here is the IGN's hands-on if you want to know more
http://wii.ign.com/articles/913/913847p1.html If you are still not sure when it comes out, at-least give this a rent before final judgement.
The last excuse for Wii bashing it has no games, oh well enjoy it haters within a year there will be enough good third-party Wii games especially exclusives to end that last excuse to bash the wii.
