It is by far the highest quality gaming system to date and also the most awesome thing i have in my place... well except for this prototype thing'ama-jig prop from the first predator movie... but that doesn't play games or do anything specific.
Folding@home is awesome but i am concerned about just how long i can leave my ps3 on for, Or if it does any sort of damage after it's on continuously? I am just weary about leaving my PS3 on all day and night while i sleep & work, but ultimately thats what i would like to do to fold@home. Anyone have any problems so far?
Well... here are my reasons for either getting one or not. I would wait because: 1) when the PS3 catches up the price on the system may be cheaper. 2) you may get tired of your wii. 3) PS3 80 gig edition. I wouldn't wait because: 1) the trade in value for your xbox 360 will go down after the 'elite edition' becomes available. 2) you want to play motorstorm and virtua fighter 5 because they rock. 3) you got that burnin' feelin you might be missing something.
Is it worth full price? It's been on every system and its 2 years old. I mean it's hardly new. I guess it's the only way they can charge full price for FEAR.
There are many games you'll never play that are awesome because you don't know about it. Who tells you? Sometimes word of mouth isn't enough to 'write that check for your living expenses'. All he's saying is that Clover sucked at marketing, and great at making games. And he may be right.
