@HistoryDragonI @kornhd Now that I've played and beated the game I can say, the only DMC game, in my opinion, that is as great as this new one is the 3rd one. I had my hopes high and it was even better than I expected.
Although I do understand this is an important area of gaming world since it's professional gaming, I can't take it serious a game webpage like gamstop start posting news about what they do. I mean I find extremelly annoying seeing magazines and newspapers saying that "brad pitt signed for role in a movie "new or "justin bieber didn't go through his entire show" news, and honestly, that sounds exactly like it, but in the geek world.
Wooow, this is soooo interesting... now we gossip news about professional player's lives. Ok moving on to the next GAME news which is what i'm here for
@Quansword yes, indeed but if DayZ was a stand alone game, featuring the exact contents it has right now, people would hate it too for many reasons like the terrible animations, terrible aiming system with multimple haircrosses appearing in the screen, zombies with only half of the body textured (yeah, if you notice most of the zombies only have the head with zombie textures, the clothes and hands are normal and tanned), the graphics (which is fine for a mod of a game but not for a nowdays standalong game. Which is one of the things everyone is complaining about Warz).
It's like I said, you can't compare a mod to a game in all of the aspects because they are not the same thing. But It's obvious that if a Dayz full-game came out as it's own production it would be 100x better than warz
@Lexicaryou're totally using only one of the interpretations to what he said. It could be both that he dislikes it and if he made it'd be different, or that it's just not his favorite kind of game and he wouldn't have made it but he approves it.
I love how people say "I'm a fan of the franchise", "it has destroyed all the DMC games" but let's be honest... the ONLY devil may cry that was actually great was the 3rd one. I still remember how those "fans" ranted and said that devil may cry was a fail since the first game when the second game came out. It's hilarious that now they made a reboot, those 3 other games from the so called awesome franchise became equally awesome :D
Let's face it, it's all about the hair... not about the coat, not about the face, it's the hair. If they made the exact same design but made him white long haired everyone would have loved this game because ALL dantes from ALL the 4 other DMC games have different face shapes and outfits
@KAINITEX @WingChopMasta DayZ is an indie mod, cannot be compared. We all know that WarZ came with crappy glitches and unfulfilled promises, but warz does have superior things and inferior things when compared with DayZ. The thing is, DayZ is a mod and has to be treated and rated as one while WarZ is a full standalone game and also has to be treated as one and for that they can't really be compared in most of the ways.
