And I could care less if you do get. It's up to each person/family to decide if the Ps4 is a value to their family. I won't tolerate price gouging, spying, and conversion. Also I want some more original games or at least for them to stop ruining old franchises and better children's games. The fact some of you don't have kids and don't want kids games is irrelevant since parents buy most of the consoles and games for kids. I won't pay three times to have all my kids be allowed to play one game online on their own accounts. There are serious legal issues Sony and the other game companies will have to face if they continue with their system of anti-trust, conversion and using viruses to impede on consumers' property rights.arcangelgoldwhich specific franchises are you talking about? to be honest, I remember some old Nintendo games like battletoads being harder than any ps3 game. I don't even have a FB account, and i'm pretty sure sony will not force me to use FB just to use a ps4. The ps4 will NOT auto download games for you. I may do that, if you SET it up to do that. That option is yours. About the whole spying thing...well it might be happening, but it's not only just sony.

[QUOTE="krayzieE99"]it is the best experience I've ever had with a game. it's emotional and tells a great story. the acting is freakin believable. My friend on the other hand that only plays shooters online, didn't like it because he couldnt figure out simple puzzles and he had no patience and tried to go guns blazing. he died plenty of times then just gave up. if you own a ps3, at least rent this game, it is amazing.Justforvisit
No offense, but I ALWAYS have to think of this archetype of gamer whenever someone states how "bad" or "boring" the game is xD that was just an example of one of my friends. I have another buddy that seriously doesn't finish single player campaigns. He quit RDR in mexico, and the only game I remember him beating is gears of war (but we did it co-op mode). Anyways he tried TLOU and now it is his favorite game. He is actually on his 2nd play through.
I have played skyrim a few times, but it was on my friends PC. At first I was really into it. The game world is vast and their is a lot of exploring to do, but to be honest it's not for me. I got bored after about 4-5 hours of playing. I don't mind playing rpgs, but the skills in skyrim looked kind of weak and not that flashy. Maybe it was because I only played for a short time. Does the ps3 still have a skyrim bug? I thought awhile back I heard that skyrim had problems on the ps3.Talk about single-player games, and not a mention of Skyrim or Fallout 3. Bro, these two games don't have much of a story but they have massive worlds with lots to do and they're both very immersive. I would say Fallout 3 actually has a good story, because although it doesn't make you want to protect characters, it does make you feel about what happens to your dad and, eventually, you. Some other games which had a nice blend of gameplay or story, or both are:
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (dated, but I feel it's better than Skyrim)
Assassin's Creed 3 (You should at least borrow part 2 and play through to get a hook on things, forget Brotherhood and Revelations)
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen
Bad Company 2
Batman: Arkham City (Sooooo much better than Arkham Asylum)
Uncharted 3
Far Cry 3
Lair (very old but amazing, goes pretty cheap nowadays)
Overlord 1 and 2
Dark Souls
Dishonored
InFamous 2
GoW 1,2 and 3Lords of Shadow had the best story until I recently played another game, which I'll tell you more about later. Dark Souls is only for the brave and is extremely difficult, but the background story, gameplay and music is awesome. Dishonored is a semi-linear first-person assassin style game, and is pretty good too. Uncharted 3 is somewhat like LOU, gameplay wise. Overlord has some very unique gameplay and used to be my favorite game, and I'm proud to say that my favorite game right now is LOTR: Conquest :P. If you play the whole God of War series, the story is actually good. Lair got bad reviews, but believe me, it is a great game. If you're really tight on money buy these: Lords of Shadow, Arkham City, Skyrim and Far Cry 3. If you got more money, then get Dishonored and Dark Souls.

Honestly, one game which has a better story than LOU or LoS was Crisis Core, but it's unfortunately only on PSP. You'll actually cry at the end of the game, even if you're a man. That game has the characters which I was most attached to.
Man I felt 100% the same. I've played many games before, but TLOU is the first game to make me actually care for a character. it is a weird feeling. I've watched sad movies before, but games normally do not affect me the same way movies do.[QUOTE="krayzieE99"][QUOTE="MiguelNoche"] I loved TLoU. Yes, it was emotional. You should try Heavy Rain. I LOVED it. It's ALL story driven and it's like playing an interactive movie.MiguelNoche
If you want that connection, I'm telling you, try Heavy Rain. You WILL connect with the characters. The gameplay in Heavy Rain can have some real consequences - your characters can die and the game/story will continue.
It starts off slow, but it's just getting you familiar with the controls. Try it.
heavy rain is a game that I have heard about many times from other friends, but just never got around to trying it. I did see the trailer for beyond with ellen page and it looked interesting. Farcry 3 looks pretty big so far, and i'm not sure how long it will take me to finish it, but perhaps I will give heavy rain a try after.
You have to play inFamous and inFamous 2. I also recommend the Sly Collection and Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, which are all just plain fun.sagejonathanI've been hearing a lot of positive recommendations about infamous. I will definitely give it a go after fc3.
[QUOTE="krayzieE99"][QUOTE="MiguelNoche"]what is your personal opinion for TLOU? did it make you emotional at all? I really really enjoyed the story, and im looking for something similar. I loved TLoU. Yes, it was emotional. You should try Heavy Rain. I LOVED it. It's ALL story driven and it's like playing an interactive movie. Man I felt 100% the same. I've played many games before, but TLOU is the first game to make me actually care for a character. it is a weird feeling. I've watched sad movies before, but games normally do not affect me the same way movies do.Both Batman games are great. I liked the first one better. I just finished The Last of Us, also. I loved Devil May Cry - that's if you don't mind learning some combos. I'm not a "hardcore" gamer either, but had no problem finishing it. The new Tomb Raider is a lot of fun - if you like exploring. (I enjoy exploring the enviornment) You can pick up Max Payne 3 really cheap now. That was fun - has a lot of story, and it's actually a decent story. I, generally, don't care too much for storyline. It's a straight-up shooter. Could have used more weapons, in my opinion (like, throwing grenades or something as in LoU) but, fun to play anyway.
