If that's how long your attention span lasts, I'm shocked you've survived in this world past infancy.

Shenmue on Amazon US for Dreamcast is only 25$ friend. Not expensive at all. You got me excited there for a moment, as I have a copy of Shenmue and thought I could make a couple hundred. How dare you!

And why exactly do you assume I live in the US?

Well GS is an American website, so it was a safe assumption to make. How expensive is it where you are?

Huh, maybe I am that dumb. It seems if I hit F5 a few times the ratings come back. No idea what could be causing that.

@wis3boi: I'm not that dumb. I'm talking about it not being there altogether. For example:

and so on

lol, too bad Shenmue never came to PC, that would probably be EXACTLY what you're looking for.

I thought to myself "well, a Dreamcast is cheap as hell now, so I guess I can just buy it", but then I looked at the price of Shenmue and instantly scratched that idea off my mind. Why the **** is it so expensive?! Are people out of their minds?!

I've noticed over the last couple weeks that some games don't show the user review percentages any longer (very positive, mostly negative, mixed, etc, along with the number). I haven't seen any press coverage of this and was wondering if it was detailed or explained anywhere. Has anyone heard anything?

Thanks <3

@Chatch09: Yeah but TORtanic can run on a toaster. My computer is basically a potato with wires and it still runs TORtanic at like 50fps. Not a great benchmarking tool.

So much cumulative butt anger.

Rift is a high-quality, medium-content WoW clone that should see you through to the level cap in about 200 hours, which is how much time I put into it. The endgame is just as shit as other MMOs though, but the mix of GW2 world events and traditional MMO questing is nice.

Age of Conan has a great combat system so long as you go with melee fighters and not mages. The world is mature and colorful, the graphics are good, the music is spectacular, and overall production values are high. It's been going for seven years, so lots of content.

TORtanic is also good, though I can't speak to its longevity as I've only just started playing. Definitely falls into the WoW "go here, kill x of y, return" type mundanity, but the production values are high and group play stories are interesting.

All of those are free, but since you're probably 12, I'd stay away from Conan until you're 18, because playing it now would be illegal for you.

I mean in theory it's nice, but that gameplay video was awful and they did a poor sales pitch. Plus that combat looks so slow, to the point where I would dread encounters. That's why turn-based/real-time with pause is a better option; you can plan it out as tactically as you want while also not being tied down by excessive turn taking animations and waiting periods.

I'll pass on this one. Like someone else said, it looks a lot like old vets trying to trade in a name that hasn't meant something in twenty years.
