@lordquasar They like making their game versions interact. They want to make differences in the two versions but don't want to force people to buy both version to get the same or most of the same experience. So if you have the 3ds version and a friend wants a customized character (however that'll turn out) you can send that character (this is just an example, don't know how they'll make it work)
@N1ghtjar This is the first year they've ever lost profit, how is that killing them when SONY if I remember correctly, is just now making a profit on the PS3? Should Sony drop out too?
I remember Gamespot complaining that Nintendo was stepping on their toes whe they began to sell refurbished DS Lites for slightly cheaper price than them. Wonder how they feel now.
Well, considering that the XBone announcement alone boosted Wii U sales 875% on Amazon in the UK, maybe the actual release of it will boost the PS4 and Wii U by an even greater number :D
One would think that 3rd party devs would rush to get games out before Ninty starts releasing their own titles, since once those are out they would be lucky to sell period. And I don't mean enhanced ports, casual, and shovelware. I mean titles that they actually gave two s#í+$ about that are either exclusive, possibly new ips or the clearly definitive versions (meaning adding marginally better graphics, costumes, and tablet controls don't make the cut) of other versions (not half-year late ports). Ever since the N64 days most 3rd party games were sometimes good, but no where near the quality of 1st and 2nd party games, and so thet sold less, and the same could be said for most GCN 3rd party games, and ALL Wii 3rd party games. Make a game that's B quality, don't be surprised to see it be out done 1st and 2nd party games that are A quality, and certainly don't expect people to buy a system that has no A games before you try to make quality games for it and expect to see results. That's like saying I'll only water a flower seed if it grows substantially and then sitting there surprised that your watering can is getting dust.
