Have you recognized familiar real-world animals in video games?

Let me explain, all sounds you hear from enemies or generally big things, are compositions from many natural sounds from natural animals. If you watch alots of movies you'll recognize that big animal things are a bit similar too other animal things in their movies.

Most of the common animals from compositions are-

-Wilderbeast
-Elephant
-Rhinocerous
-Hippopotomous
-Lion
-Snake
-Bear
-Crocodile
-Alligator
-Owl

These animal sound bites are distorted, changed, reversed, mixed, blended and so on and so forth, but they are so oft used that now they are too recognizeable to be taken as a *unique creature* if they sound so similar to one another.

For example:

[spoiler] Recall fighting in Twilight Princess the fyrus guy? Thats all bear sound bites for the most part, especially the part right after you kill give him the finishing blow and he first grabs his head. [/spoiler]

And thats not just them either.

[spoiler] Remember in Gears of War fighting the Corpser? Its Intro? Wilderbeast or Elephant. I can't place the screeches, but Widlerbeast or Elephant ( not sure at the moment) is that noise you hear when its up top. [/spoiler]

You're probably wondering how on Earth I know these things as well. Simply, watch an animal planet documentary once in a while, you'll notice.

Anyway, what do you think...Not exactly the most debating topic, but I am kind of annoyed hearing the same things over and over again in video games bosses lately. I just wish it weren't so obvious sometimes, placing something 20ft+  taller than you as an enemy in a game to have it sound like something that occasionally walks around your backyard is distracting. For the record, I couldn't place the dinosaur sounds in Jurassic Park, or the Balrog or Mountain Trolls in the Lord of the Rings, until I heard what they did for them in the commentary.

What are your thoughts? Have you recognized video game enemies and/or creatures closely to real-world animals.

The parts underlined and bolded are questions of mine. Along with others

First- The component cables, do the games look no different on 720p than 1080p (if thats possible) and what about 1080i?

Second- Headset, nothing wrong, but recently I've heard that they have issues. What are they? Has it happened to you?

Third- Live Gold- $50 for a year of online multiplayer right? Is it worth it? Is the online really populated by screaming 12 year olds from what I have heard in System Wars?

Fourth- Quick charge kit is included, but the pic shows the play and charge. Which is better? Its wireless controllers, which of the two doesn't interfere with wireless?

Fifth- Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged, do you have it? fun? Geometry wars?

Sixth- Your favorite game on it what is it? I heard Oblivion was fun, as well as other games.

Seventh- Vertical or Horizontal? Surge protector plug-into? Elevated brick? Intercoolers?

Yes, I don't think I've ever wanted to, I've had such a good time wasting there arguing about nothing, that I've been able to not just sit around in the more boring forums.

The arguments are only going to continue, and only stay the same thing over the course of the next 10 years, over nothing.

Just pointless arguments against useless mindsets. I will also be less active in Wii forums, since the main reason I've been here is for info on what to get for launch, and Wii IDs for my system. I don't care for the moderation sysem either, which is very unforgiving at times and reminds me my strict grammar school I attended.

Especially because any arguments always end with the same ol' explanation "TOU is the rules, just because he's level one and asked a question and you responded with a well thought out answer does not mean that you may call a n00b a n00b, even if said n00b is a n00b, no n00b calling is required, because you may hurt his feelings for him not wasting hours of his time here, now you're suspended for several days for it, possibly more sinc our suspensions are glitched and we don't care, now buzz off."

This place is a refutable breeding ground for 12-year old tattletales, a problem with sites like these. You can't find smart people, and if they are, they're biased jerks who are simply blinded by their own idioscentric beliefs to give a crap about whatever you just said.

OT is another place I don't want to be in, some people are nice there, and there are usually interesting topics. But I'm sick of clicking and finding about two of the usual topics up. Nearly every day. It's usually God vs. Darwin what do you believe? Does God exist? God doesn't exist! (proof inside) Something about race. Political thread. Blah Blah Blah. I don't find the attraction of these threads. I don't. I don't know why you OTers bother with them. If I decided, they would all be moved to some union where it fits.

Back to SW, the place smells funky, and the stench is sure to hang over the place for all eternity in the neverending quest for "ownage". E2ESQUARE once wrote that "System Wars was a place that was fun to post in, where you could proudly display whether you were a sheep, lemming, cow or hermit, but not anymore, those are old, golden times". He's gone now, along with many others. I wish I was around for it, but I'm not.

The place is terrible now, utter chaos. I'll come back sometimes, to help out the other sheep on occasion. Don't expect me around arguing about video games when I can be playin them. You should too. Just play.

This place is terrible with it's moderatrion system as of now, it's sad and too restricting. We all freely curse when we talk in real life, but on Gamestop, tough **** buddy, even if you use the curse word to try to attempt to **** ing describe somthing,

wtF People, with a capital F and not a lowercase "h", what the **** is wth? I mean seriously, we have to dumb down our lazy 3 letter acronym to avoid a potential moderation from the "volunteer bad word police"?

How about this one? Gamestop censors the bad words and warns of "fowl" language in some user videos. Nevermind the grotesque blood and gore that thrives and flaunts itself in the hundreds of "T" and "M" rated titles on GameStop. We can admire "the wonderful blood splatter and spray effects" but bad words JESUS CHRIST DELETE THE MESSAGE PROTECT THE INNOCENT EA- EYES FROM READING!!

Of course, it's gotten to a point of no return now. To let you people know (by people, refer to previous blog) I was moderated for having an "sh" and 2 ** put together, with "holy" before that, as a compliment to a funny image I saw in a signature.

As a result for posting a GIF with teh bad words in it (which were flashing too, a bit difficult to see) , a 23 day suspension, thanks to your favorite sites glitched and buggy automated suspension lift system (orig. 7 days). I politely contacted customer service. Days later, lifted, and an admin saying that he was surprised I was not permanantly banned for that.

Reread that, then reread the underlined section, and let the notion sink in your head. It's not gay porn, it's not direct mindless flaming of your personal beliefs. It's teh deemed bad word.

Gamespot is coddling it's users, and encouraging people to tattletale on others (which I believe, had the rewards of points if it was moderated, how cheap).

Obviously a system to get rid of crap is nessessary, for locking porn (Not Pr0n, what the **** is pPr0n supposed to be anyway? A clever attempt at fooling moderators into not knowing that you were advertising porn?) threads, banning idiots who come back to flame people, but come on!

For one, get rid of suspensions, that's for school, on the internet, people are banned and that's all we will ever know. Set a limit, Banned for 30 mins, 2 days, infinite. Get moderater relations, whenever something bad happens, it's the mods, who are playing a game called "ban spree".

Please, ban Sunsha or the foreign guy, people will care for 300 posts, and then lament a few weeks, then threads posted.

Oh noes! Level 20!

A lot of people are upset over the level 20 glitch. Why? So the level system slows to a crawl...ignore it and don't go back every day to check if you're level went up the full 2%

Another thing, people who post alot for the sole purpose of "throwing a 10k post party" don't do it....you're wasting your time and life, as if a virtual party is any fun or a worthwhile achievenment (if it was, then there'd be  a 10k post emblem right?)

So really people, don't do it, or in this case, I'm referring to Nishamuffypuppy, as he regularly does take the time to comment on what I write (which means he probably did read it), something I don't even do myself sometimes either.

So JohnPraser is now banned, and we'll never see his 10k postparty because of it. For those who don't know him, he was the user with the Lambourghini in his sig, the car.

He was also the founder of the Uncyclopedia union, a humor union dedicated to Wikipedias notable parody site. He gave responsibilities to me, and he also was the leader of the xbox live gamertag union. Which I presume is leaderless now, we can only hope he gets unbanned through customer service.

Just now, my father ran out the door to tibbets, which is a short drive to there, oh god I can hear the ambulance sirens.

I hope they're alright, I really do. My sister called me on her cell phone in the car, so I doubt it was too serious.

Update: It turns out that they're okay, my little brother and sister both have marks on their necks from the seatbelts and my sister had glass in her butt, but is just as well. My mom, as it turns out, wasn't in the car and was getting a friend of hers to drive them home, she is also fine and the other 2 car drivers are doing alright. It was a minor thing, and rainy out.

I'm glad they're alright, but the time between hearing accident and minor was scary.

I've decided to go with the Phantom game console, because it is superior to any upcoming next-gen console.

It's the real next gen.

So I suppoes that make me a Phanboy, or Phantomboy or whatever, I'll stick to my choice.

Anyway, what I've done while gone is write up 2 articles on Uncyclopedia. I want one to get featured, that would be great.

I'd like to thank Johnpraser for him supporting me while gone, and making me the head of the Uncyc union.

The Boss Union, a union dedicated to the enemies of the heroes, the big bad tough guys that want to destroy you or kill you in any way.

If I made it, I'd be leader but known as Final Boss, co-founder (if) would be Hidden Boss because I thought it up, officers would be Mini-bosses, recruits would be boss fodder. (little reg. enemies that appear during boss fights)

I'd like to put the text there for the boss tags like the ones that say leader or offcer and are green or orange with the above.

We'd cover a wide range and look around at all past video game bosses big and small, covering every Company and game with bosses.
