I cannot figure out how to tell my NPC partner to equip any weapon other than her pistol. In the inventory, I can give her any weapon/ammo or equipment I choose but I cannot take her pistol and I cannot get her to equip any other weapons. I've tried every button on the controller and I've googled for additional info and read the game manual all to no avail, nothing seems to have any effect on this. I'm sure it's trivial and I'm just missing something, but I've spent nearly 45 minutes trying to figure this out with no luck. TIA -SLSkyLeach

I'm sure that this is a relatively trivial thing, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. How do you tell your NPC partner which weapons to equip? In the inventory, I can give her weapons and stuff, but for some reason she will only ever use the pistol and no matter what buttons I push I never get an option to "equip" her. I messed with it for a good 15 minutes before finally deciding to get on here and see if anyone could tell me. I googled this considerably as well, and apparently it's possible since most of the guides suggest diversifying your arsenal (mixture of ARs/pistols and shotguns/rifles). TIA -SL SkyLeach
