And that's what'll make it scrarier! Look what happened with RE5.....RE4 would have probably suffered the same fate if the environment had been in daylight like RE5

[QUOTE="kroumeli"]"Dramatic angles and clumsy cantering are things of the past, traded for a third-person over-the shoulder perspective and a control set-up owing a lot to Retro's note-perfect Metroid Prime series. Walking and strafing is tethered to the nunchuck while the remote pointer – acting as your flashlight – adjusts your line of sight. Point your torch toward the edge of the screen and you can glance up, down or even turn 360-degrees. It feels perfectly natural as you explore Shattered Memories' incredibly atmospheric environments but, crucially given the intensity of the game's frenetic chase sequences, responsive too. I read tru quite fast and missed that.. :P ... *after reading carefully*

this one is a WIN...and in my list a MUST!!! :):D

The most impressive part of the hands-on is this though.....really insane!!!.....

"Perhaps most impressive of all though is Shattered Memories' much-touted psychological profiling feature. It's a cool concept on paper but even more exciting when you see it in action. Playing through the demo a few times, it's evident that profiling has the potential to revolutionise the survival horror genre as the game tailors itself around your subtlest actions to truly get under your skin. While Shattered Memories will ultimately build your psychological profile throughout its entire duration, we only had chance to see how the world shapes itself based on the game's opening questionnaire.

Probing everything from how easily you make friends to whether you've ever role-played during sex, even these early questions have a radical effect on Silent Hill's opening few sequences. State that you're fond of a drink and the game replaces the town's diner with a bar. We also noted our answers affected whether an early store location sold electrical goods or clothing – each permutation featuring unique puzzles – and if our first character encounter occurred with a cop or a waitress. Even conversations take on a different tone – from perfectly pleasant to outwardly aggressive - and answer phone messages switch from inquisitive to thoroughly menacing. It all goes a long way to ensuring your experience is relentlessly, refreshingly, unpredictable and you're never at ease with your surroundings."

I see and makes sense.....Nibris claims that they have been "accredited" as a developer by Nintendo.....now I don't know how that comes into the picture.......if this is true then this game is definitely going to hold a lot more weight than SADNESS....I'm excited either way though......Spelunker

One that hasn't ever made a game before, has zero track record, and really isn't any different than you or I saying that we're going to make a game.

No.  Sadness is being made by a Tier-C developer, and Matt said that the game wasn't being made by one.helium_flash

what makes a developer tier-c???

i'm just about to buy it, but i'm afraid i'll get bored of it really quick. i currently have a xbox360. do you guys play your wii often?gamer_sammy

Don't say that yet.....it's brand new still......look at PS3....that thing is going to hell.......wait a bit Publishers are just now realizing the Wii difference.....

Ubisoft just admitted that they rushed their products out and made crap

Activision just said they will be investing a lot more into it

Look at Crystal Chronicles....that game looks awesome.....look at Manhunt 2.....that would have never seen light on Gamecube.........look at what studio Nintendo just bought......Monolith.....

Things are looking very bright.....go out and support it.......if publishers see more of this more great games will continue to come..............

[QUOTE="kuenbre"]It depends did Matt say that before or after that podcast?Nintendo_Ownes7
for what because in the Podcast he said that at the end, but I don't know when he said he doubts Sadness will ever come out.

He mentioned it was for a mature audience and a lot of publishers have been interested but have not bitten yet.....what game could he be talking about.??....it sounds like its a new franchise
