First Review in over a Year. Holy Cow Pies.

Yeah, I kinda got out of reviewing for a while. I noticed that my last one was Persona 4 over a year ago. :o

I thought, "Why not?" and did a review for FFXIII since it's probably the biggest, most hyped game I've played in a while. Though I did finally did finish Mass Effect a month or so ago....naw, no need to review that. :P

Final Fantasy XIII

Time to get Drunk!

But not really. :P It's my 21st birthday today, so yay? I just don't get as excited over my birthday as I used to. It just seems like any other day (I think I said the same thing last year too. ). Besides going to get my driver's license renewed at some point, I plan on doing nothing but gaming today. Also having Donatos Pizza for dinner (best pizza in the world!) and Pumpkin Pie (best pie in the world!).

Don't really think I'll be getting too much for my birthday as far as presents go. My car needed a new muffler a few weeks ago and new tires, so that was my birthday/Christmas from my parents. I'll probably get something from my grandparents, but not too much. I don't really care that much though. I realize money is tight right now the way things are with the economy and I'm not too materialistic anyway.

Till my next blog...which I guess will actually be around Christmas. I won't do another 7 month blog hiatus I guess.

Tagging is for Uncool People

Yes, Chaney (soulless4now). YOU'RE UNCOOL!

I should've known that my first blog in about.....7 months would be because I got tagged. (big thanks to whoever started that ag again. ).

I know I've done this type of blog before, so I repeat stuff, then whatever. :P

1. Seafood rocks. I could probably eat seafood for the rest of my life and never get tired of it.

2. I haven't played on my Wii in probably a year. Whenever ToS: Dawn of the New World came out was the last time I played it.

3. I haven't got a new PS3 game since Valkyria Chronicles. Yup, so it's probably been a year for that system too.

4. I got into the Top 500 reviewers on Gamespot thing.

5. I started playing Quake Live (basically Quake 3 ran from a browser) and it is very well organized. You're put into a skill level and when you look at a server's info it'll tell you if your skill level is a match for the players in the server. Just a good way to make sure you join the right games and don't get rocked by some Q3 veteran.

6. I also started playing TF2 competitively. Joined a team and we played in CEVO-F last season and are doing the next season of TWL. I find competitive TF2 a lot more fun and challenging than pubs.

7. I had my first Big Mac in years yesterday. It almost looked like one of those Big Macs you see in the commercials or on the menu.

8. I believe I've decided on a major (for now at least). Right now I'm going for a History major. I looked at the different jobs that you could get with that degree and they ranged and seemed interesting.

9. I need a new anime to watch. Since I finished Clannad and Clannad: After Story...there just haven't been any that have caught my eye. :(

10. I may ask for Borderlands for my birthday or Christmas, since my B-Day is only a month away. There are a lot of peeps at the Temple getting it and the game does seem fun, so why not? :P

Persona 4...why must you end?

I would have a pic too...but GS is being stupid about "HTML errors"....because of the IMG tag on the url I suppose. :?

Persona 4 Review

Since I got the Normal Ending to P4, I figured I could do a review for it.

This RPG possibly just broke into my Top 5 fave RPGs of all time...

Happy New World! Wait....

No, this isn't a New Year's blog. :P

I got Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for Christmas and, honestly, it was a rather disappointing sequel. It lacked the depth of the original, a likable cast (from the new characters anyway), the combat system wasn't as good as the previous games, and the monster recruitment system was rather pointless. But you can just read all that in my review!

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

Just another day...

I think I'm almost finally (or I'm already there) at the age where I really don't give a crap about my birthday anymore.  It just seems like another day to me.  I guess it's kinda sad, since I'm only turning 20 (well, technicially I've been 20 since 4:53 this morning :P ) and they say you should be excited till at least after your 21st birthday, due to the joy of drinking alcohol legally.  But I'm not a big fan of drinks like those, so I don't care about that stuff so much.

I'm going to my grandparents house later to celebrate with them and when the family (as in both pairs of grandparents, my great grandmother, and aunt/uncle) comes over for Thanksgiving later on in the week we'll probably do something for my birthday that day too.  Hell, this really does just feel like any other day to me.

I'm assuming I'll be getting Valkyria Chronicles and Left 4 Dead at least today, if not later this week.  And if not then I'll be getting them for Christmas (as I had a only 6 games on my wishlist to split between my parents and both grandparents).

I think I shall go play some WoW now. :P Or watch some anime, whichever.

WoW what?

No, not a blog about World of Warcraft (my 60 days ran out and I'm not going to get another time card). I've found a far more addicting (at least to me anyway :P ) MMO, Warhammer Online. xD

I'd been contemplating getting it after one of my friends in my Team Fortress 2 clan got it and had been raving about how much fun it was. I've only actually been playing it for a couple days, since I needed a Time Card or Credit Card info to activate the account online so I could log into the actual game. But since I started on Tuesday I've already put over 20 hours into my Orc Shaman, Mommorfakiri! xD My friend from the TF2 clan is going Black Orc (a tank class basically), so he tanks, I heal, we win in Battlegrounds. :P

Speaking of Battlegrounds....that is where a majority of my time is spent in game. I've never been into PvP especially when it comes to MMOs, but the Battlegrounds and Realm vs Realm in Warhammer is just too much fun. It's a far more fun way to get experience and gear than just questing. There are also a ton of achievements in game, from little things like getting killed by a certain class to completing a string of quests. Just little things to add more fun to the game.

Yes, I know peeps in the Temple have almost disowned me from the fact I haven't so much as touched a console RPG in.....weeks? Months almost? But Warhammer is just too much fun. Waaaaaaaaagh!!!! (as the Orks say :P )

And here is the The Wise Mommorfakiri!*Note: That is Scab Red, not purple that his armor is colored. :P
