If I were in your position, I would seriously think about waiting until the 9 series come out. You have a very good card which will last for a while. Why waste money on a GTX, (Which a new 8800 GTS 512 mb is much better for the money, nearly exact same performance if not better), when better cards are coming soon.

I'm looking to hook up my PC and 360 with this monitor. IS this a good one for the price? Is LG a good 20" monitor manufacturer?

Um... You are all mistaken...miserably mistaken... I know from first-hand experience (I have one), that my XFX 8600 GT XXX will run Crysis at 1280 x 960 all settings high except shaders and shadows at medium. The game runs very smoothly at 40-50 in outdoor enviroments, and in intense firefights it drops to 20-30 fps. Because of the blurring effect, you barely notice it because of the action going on. If I were you, I would buy the 8600. For $100 Tigerdirect.com is selling the XFX 8600 GT XXX with a free Company of Heroes: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3048552&CatId=155

Trust me. This card has amazing value. Ialso run COD4 maxed out at 1280 x 960 at a consistent 60 fps. Company of Heroes runs flawlessly (can't tell fps, fraps doesn't work.). Anyway. This card for $100 is a steal. Go for it!

Well, it's not high, but it's noticable. However, when I put my headset on I can barely notice it, and it's faint. I just want to know if anything is technically okay. If it's just a matter of vibration frequency, then that's fine.

Could it be my new graphics card? I put in an XFX 8600 GT XXX, do you think something is wrong with the fan? I'm asking, because usually when my 360 started buzzing I would get paranoid, because of all the horror stories...

What does it mean when in Nvidia Control Panel, my system fan speed = 32000 rpm? There is also a buzzing monotone frequency noise coming from my case...

I've looked on Amazon.ca, no luck. I can't order from E-bay. Any other trusted game distributor sites I should look at?
