Man I can't believe I was so stupid to believe that.

So today a friend of my mom dropped by and said she has a gift thinking it's my 10 year old brother's birthday. Then she realised it's my birthday and not his.

So when I received the present I was like "great this will probably be some cheap puzzle or something like that".

So I sat down to open the gift. While opening it I saw a book with a picture of a 3DS on it. I was like "O.O no way this can't be!".

So I removed the gift paper completely and was holding a plastic cover thingy whatever it's called with some cases to put 3DS games in, ear phones, screen protectors, cleaning cloth, a case to put your 3DS in, and some other stuff in it.

Thinking there's a 3DS in that case I opened it to find out there is nothing in it lol.

Man I can't believe I was so stupid to think she'll give me a €250 handheld. And I can't believe I was so blind to not realise it's just a pack with all kinds of extras for a 3DS.

I mean if it was a 3DS then where the hell is the charger and all those books and stuff that come with it? And the box would look totally different! And the 3DS wouldn't be in a frigin 3DS case now would it?

Guess I was caught off guard or something lol...

Now I feel stupid.

EPIC FAIL

Oh well at least I won't have to spend the money I get tomorrow on a 3DS game. Pre-ordering LA Noir it is.

And who knows I might actually get a 3DS some day so that stuff might come in handy...if not then it will be lying around collecting dust for all eternity...

So today I turn 18. 8)

All I got are some clothes. :/

My mom said she'll also give me €60. :o

I think I'll use €10 to go out and €50 to pre-order LA Noir. Don't know what else to do with it lol.

I was going to make this blog 2 days ago(the day I got Mortal Kombat) but I was to lazy and to busy playing so I'm making it now.

Man after all that wait I finally have the game...

MK9 is the most fun fighter I've ever played! I haven't even checked everything yet. I haven't started the story mode yet(will soon though, looks awesome) and I haven't tried every character yet.

All the characters seem to be really cool and unique, I think Netherrealm did a great job with them. All the characters I've tried so far are fun to play with.

Challenge tower is fun too, I'm only at challenge 20 though. Only 280 more challenges to go! :D
Can't wait to see what the final challenge will be and what the reward will be. :D

Just sucks psn is down for a while. I was looking forward to play some tag team online. Ah well it's not the end of the world. :D

And once again I have to many games to play...
I bought NFS: Hot Pursuit this monday, great game.
Then there are games I haven't beat yet and haven't plat yet lol...
Man I haven't even started on Mafia II yet. Bought that game last december lol. I'll play it once I beat Bioshock. xD
I think it's time I stop complaining about to many games to beat/plat and get to work. :P

Aw man got to go to school again next tuesday. :?
Stupid school.

Yup, I just played Shogun 2: Total War demo for 5 hours straight and I'm not even done yet lol.

The game is awesome!

And most important of all...the game runs, in fact the game runs very well. I really didn't expect that. Didn't notice any lag at all. :o

Sure I might not be able to run it on the highest settings but I don't care! Low - medium settings are good enough for me as long as I can enjoy the game! :D

Man I am so happy now! xD

And those ninja videos are awesome. I kept assassinating everyone I could find just so I could watch those videos lol. xD

One thing I found annoying at the campaign map though was that you can't compare your faction with other factions.
Like you click on a button then a graph shows up where you can compare your military stats/financial stats/whatever stats with other factions.
Sucks they removed it.
Well I think they removed it anyway because I couldn't find it.
Ah well it's not so bad.

This game has now become my most wanted game of the year right next to Mortal Kombat.
But I'm buying Mortal Kombat first, though.

I think I might change my avatar and sig after I buy this game and play it for at least a year or 2.

Yup, today I reached 1kyu rank in shi to ryu karate. This was my second try though. My first test was last month but I failed it because I forgot a kata because I hadn't practiced it in a long time, so I could only remember parts of it. Focused to much on 2 other katas.

But this month I refreshed my memory by focusing on that kata and passed, my sensei was happy. :P

And so am I. xD

Next up: 1st dan

And for those who don't know what 1st dan is it's black belt.

But the training will be long and hard. Reaching 1st dan is not so easy. It could take a few years of practise, all your techniques have to be pretty much perfect and stuff.

My sensei also said there are special trainings which sounds awesome. He'll give more details later(probably in next lesson).

Just thought I share this. :P

btw A friend of mine says he's going to do box in april. I think I might do that too. I think karate + box = nice combo. And being good at 2 martial arts > being good at 1 martial art. :P
And to make it even better box is on monday, wednesday and friday. Karate is on tuesday and thursday.
I'll probably won't be able to go to the gym anymore but ah well, my membership thingy will end in april anyway lol.

Man I just watched that Uncharted gameplay, now I'm sold lol.

The graphics are better than I expected, Uncharted almost looked like Uncharted 1 on ps3! :o

Man I got to find a job. Otherwise it will take ages for me to save up for that thing.

But if I find a job and save up enough money before this thing is out I won't but it untill atleast a few months after its release.

So there will be more games out for it and launch game will be dropped in price and stuff like that ya kno. :P

AND I hope it won't be to expensive. Highest I'll go is 250 - 300 euros. lol(if I find a job xD)

So my game collection has finally passed the 100 mark. 8)

My 100th game was Mortal Kombat Deception for PS2. Never thought I would buy another game for my PS2 when I got my PS3. :P

My 101st game was be Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance. My 102nd game will be Mortal Kombat Armageddon(will pick it up either this friday or saturday). :P xD

I'm trying to get Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks but I can't find it anywhere. Well I did find 2 stores that sell the game but those stores are to far away. Ah well I'm sure I'll find it someday somewhere....

Don't know why but I suddenly started to like Mortal Kombat games a lot. :P

This is how it started:
When I put GT5 aside to beat my other ps3 games I started with MKvsDCU because I still had to beat the MK Story.
Beat it in a few hours, played a little arcade and put it away.
Then for some reason came back to it to play a little more, just for the lolz.
One day I clicked on the online for the first time. I was expecting it to be dead but to my surprise there were still plenty of people playing it(well not that many, like 40 or so people a day, but it's enough to have fun. There are always people avaible to play with so trying to find someone to play is not a problem). That's when I realised I could go for the platinum after all.
While trying to get the online trophies(and some offline trophies at the same time) I was getting more and more hooked to MK. :P
Now I'm a Mortal Kombat fan. :P

I'd love to get the old MK games like MKI, II, III and stuff but I don't have the systems to play them on. :?
Meh that's ok, I'll survive. :P

Can't wait for the new Mortal Kombat, it looks awesome!! :D

And no I haven't forgot about GT5. :P

Once I beat Red Faction, Bioshock and Mafia 2 I'll start playing GT5 again. No I won't quit playing MK. I'll just mix it a little. You know one day I play GT5, the other MK, then GT5 again, and so on, ya kno. :P xD

I kept playing and playing that game ever since I bought it.

Now I have made my decision.

No more GT5 untill I beat all my other ps3 games. Otherwise I'll probably never beat the other games. :P
