Darkfall, Age of Conan, and perhaps Warhammer.

Carmen Sandiego Junior Detective Edition!

My favourite game of all time, just that it looks silly if a 20 year old is sitting there playing a game thats like what, 10+ years old and made for children?

FFXI has a far more mature player base as well as much more to do. I had 2 level 75's in FFXI and I have a level 70 in WoW. If I weren't waiting for games like Age of Conan and Darkfall, FFXI would be my first choice.

WoW is by far a quicker and easier game to play. You can level any class at any level on your own without help. It also takes practically no time at all to level. In FFXI you NEED a party to level at any reasonable rate, (A few exceptions to this. Example, a BST can level on their own with a solid strategy) and you will learn that leveling is something that takes far more time then in WoW.

Personally I found both games fun, but WoW becomes incredible boring once you hit 70 and only run sh-att-y instances and raids all day because there isn't anything else to do. Although FFXI also has similar end game "fun", it takes far longer to get there, prolonging the boredom of end game. Plus FFXI has a new expansion coming out soon from what I heard.

If someone could answer a few questions I have, that would be wonderful.

First off, I heard there isn't any PvP. Is this true? False? Is there any sort of Player vs. Player combat or games?

Second, does the game have a solid community? A working economy and a large amount of players to make it feel like a real MMO? I am tired of games that have either collapsed over time, or never had a chance to build a real working community.

Third, does it have time cards or is it strictly credit? And if so what is the price. I will assume it is similar to WoW. In your eyes, is it worth the monthly price?

Fourth, how is the end game experience? I would take it that this hasn't truly been reached by most if not any, but from what you may have heard or experienced, is it worth playing through till the end? Does it provide an "epic" feeling at all?

It would help if you explained what isn't working, not the lack of information you posted. Are you unable to install the game, are you unable to connect to battle.net (and of so what does the error message say), did you create an account correctly, can you not connect to the account you made, are you trying to play on the same account as your friend, etc.

Well when from the reviews I have gone over, and from your comment on the groups being used for most of the game, I am more interested because of that. I was a huge fan of FFXI for many reasons, but one of them was because no character was overly powered and could solo things easily. Grouping is something I enjoy in MMO's.

Does anyone know if I can download a trial version from somewhere to test it out? I would hate to buy the game, and subscribe only to find out that the game sucks.

If there is, a link to the trial version would be great.

I have looked over the website, gone through a few reviews and from what i can tell, it looks like a good game. I have heard from a few places that its "dieing" because of lack of players, and that its glitchy.

Im sick of WoW and need a MMO to play. Vanguard looks great and wanted to see what some of you have to say about it.

On top of that, does it have time cards or does it only take credit card for the monthly pay?

First time trying Halo 2 and want to get online to see what everyones talking about. When I go online, it makes me pick a username then brings me to a sorta lobby. From here however, if I click on the quickmatch or the other one, it will throw me into a room by myself. I can't join other rooms. Shouldn't I beable to pick a room or atlest be put into a room that has someone other then just myself...

I started downloading the map packs now, hoping that is the problem, but just incase, im asking it here.
