Its all good. Actually EVERYONE was in the orphanage except for rinoa. Which is why she remembers everything... She also didnt go to garden so she never really used GFs much
Oh... That does make sense. But Rinoa doesnt aquire all of the sorceresses powers. Because Ultimecia goes back to the orphanage and then gives her remaining powers to Edea so she can die. But that happened to Edea before the end game too. And then Edea passed her powers to Rinoa. But then Rinoa is possessed. And since at the end Ultimecia can be seen giving Edea her powers... Cant we assume that the cycle just goes again. Since it happened the same exact way in the game too.
This is true. I just cant help but think about this though. Because the cycle really doesnt end... so it is interesting, at least to myself. I liked the story and it was so awesome. But the end vid is what makes you think because it doesnt actually bring closure. It brings to back to the beginning of the game. And so you just have to wonder, "What would you do differently to stop the never ending cycle of ultimecia>edea>rinoa to stop happening."
Ultimecia didnt live at the orphanage. She showed up to pass on her powers to Edea so that she can die in peace. Thats how Edea gets her powers. But then Edea is possessed by Ultimecia... soo its kinda confusing
Well, for starters the ring of squall's that rinoa gets, is named grevier. And when ultimecia summons the "ultimate gf" it is grevier ((of w/e you decided to name the ring)). Also, in the end vid. it shows rinoas face and when everything starts spinning her faces flashes and becomes ultimecias. This theory also makes sense because before ultimecia dies she gives her powers to edea who then gives them to rinoa... who is then possessed by ultimecia... Its like a never ending cycle. And if you wanted to think a little bit into the ending, it makes sense because rinoa would go insane from losing her love into the flow of time, thus turning her into an evil corrupt person
To anyone who has played through final fantasy 8... I would like to know your opinion on the ultimecia is rinoa theory. I myself think that it might hold true although I have seen proof against it many times. FF8 was my favorite of the series so far and I think it is because I am always trying to figure out who ultimecia really is. If anyone has any input plz let me know because it would be interesting to hear what others think of this
