True Crime: Streets of L.A. is probably my favorite video game of all time. It kicks butt! There's a lot of swearing and violence in it to make it rated M. And some of the things that are said are really funny. You fight people, shoot at people and things, and drive like a maniac. It's so much fun! It has so much action in it. And I'll tell you one thing, it's a hard game. You could literally spend hours playing it. I have. I just got the game two days ago, and I stayed up till 6 in the morning playing it, and I got up at 11 that same morning to play again. The game is not boring like some games are. As I play I wanna keep on going till I make it to the end. There are three endings to the game, and you have to find the right one to get the questions answered.
The main guy is Nick Kang, an L.A. detective. His father was the best officer that L.A. ever had. However, he was caught in a drug scandal and suddenly disappeared. Nick became a detective to follow in his father's footsteps and possibly find out the truth about what happened to him. A lot of the other L.A. detectives don't like Nick because of his ways of solving cases. He has destructive ways of catching criminals. He is suspended from ignoring a direct order. Then he is asked by the Chief to join again and help solve a rash of bombings of local businesses. Nick agrees only on one condition...he does things his way.
Nick gets partnered up with a former criminal, Rosie, who got to turn her life around and get a second chance. Rosie doesn't like the fact that she's been partnered up with Nick because of his reputation. She doesn't wanna get dragged down with him if things don't turn out right.
Throughout the game, Nick is catching criminals, rescuing people including his little brother Cary, sending some of the criminals to the morgue, and getting closer to the truth about his father's suspicious disappearance.
The voice of Nick Kang is Russell Wong and I just became the editor for him!:)
