Yes that was a close generation.I had alot of friends that had a genesis and alot that had a SNES.I remember it being a big deal when Mortal Kombat came out cuz the genesis version showed blood but the SNES version did not.
Obviously the PS3 is superior hardware wise this generation, but I was thinking to myself, has the superior console (hardware wise) ever won a console war? I remember back when I had a Sega Saturn, it was supposed to be superior to the Playstation hardware, but the Playstation won. Hell if the Saturn wasn't superior, the N64 definately was. Of course the last generation, Xbox was superior, yet PS2 dominated. This generation PS3 is superior but is losing. So when is the last time that the superior console actually came out on top? I don't know who was more superior or who won in the SNES/Genesis generation but I had a SNES, and a NES before that.
I just enountered a bug in Dante's Theatre. I cleared the entire theatre out, and then went to extract the terrorist data from the computer. I did all that then it said get to the roof. I did not see the ladder to the left, so i left the theatre to try to find another route. When i did this, the game randomly saved my progress, only it saved it backwards. I now have to get the terrorist data AGAIN. So, I cleared dante's theatre AGAIN and got to the computer, only this time, there is no option to make my teammates extract the data. I restarted the xbox 3 times and cleared the theatre 4 more times and i still cannot extract the data. Then i said screw it and went up the ladder hoping it would let me get to the roof. But it won't, it still tells me to get the terrorist data which I can't. Has this happened to anyone? I really do not want to start the game all over again that's gonna really suck. Thanks for any help.
