Resident Evil 4

Shadow Of The Collosus

Tekken 5

Tomb Raider Legend

(these aren't necessarily my favourites, just games that I would be confident recomending to someone who had never played a PS2)

I still play my ps2 and I love it! But true, it will soon die. Every system eventually dies though. It's natural in the circle of video game life. :Dlex_in_the_moon
