In the classic zombie movies the word zombie is used to describe a human corpse that has through whatever plot device been resurrected and so is the living undead.

In the Last Of Us the victims do not die, and are instead taken over by the cordycepes virus and it is this viral infection that changes the humans facial features while they are still alive

It's a fungus not a virus, one of the reasons why I couldn't take Gamespots review seriously was that they missed this plot device. A virus and a fungus are fundamentally different and do different things to survive. Hell we're not even sure if a virus is a living organism but a fungus most definitely is. If this was a virus the plot would have to be altered very severely, most likely resulting in a very much meh ending, if you completed it you'd know what I mean. A virus cannot be transmitted through airbourne spores and also enemies like the clickers would make no sense.

The last bit of that fight is tought alright, you have to just keep running away from him making sure not to get seen or to step on the broken plates until you get a chance to run up behind him and press triangle which will trigger the end of the boss. When he runs into a new part he stops for a moment and thats your chance to get at him. Just use your sound/sight thingy to locate him and fixate on that position because after a while you can't see him anymore using it until he moves again. It took me about 4 tries to get him there and that's how I did it.

Either which way really, I played on a 32" for some of it and a 19" for other bits and I can't say playing on the 19" diminished the experience any bit at all. If you just sit closer it has the same affect, I think the quality of the telly itself has more of an impact than the size. My smaller tv was badly adjusted and it made the game look shit, contrast and colour were all over the place but I fixed it and it looked spectacular. I say go buy it and sit closer.

Oh man Visual studio is extremely heavy, my friend was running it on his hexacore AMD and 6 GB of ram and it crawled his machine. You can forget Dedicated GPU anyway but you'd need maybe 8GB of ram and a nice fast processor, maybe an i7 Quad with Hyperthreading. Is this work related that you need to use Visual Studio? are you programming in C or C++ or C# because there are better IDE's than Visual studio for those languages besides C# and I would advise learning Java instead of C# they're very similar and Java is more widely used but its close enough to C# that if you needed to change over then you could easily. I did a project in C# without ever touching the language once because i had Java.

[QUOTE="ex-mortis"]

I don't listen to Bolt Thrower that much but Pestilence and Dissection are both classic, they are not really that underrated from what I've seen. Pestilence's first four albums are all consistently great (and yes that includes Spheres, now that is a criminally underrated album). Also Storm of the Light's Bane and The Somberlain are both some of the best metal albums ever.

ex-mortis

Yes Spheres is brilliant, but not my fav. I like Testimony or Consuming Impulse more. But I see them as an underrated band that rarely get mentioned enough, Bolt Thrower are so underrated it makes me sick. They may not be the most talented or the fastest but they make some damn good Heavy Metal. Once again I suppose dissection are seen as more of a Black Metal band and Black Metal is my favourite so I never really talk about it too much. What do you think of Pungent Stench? great band good use of Funk and Blues.

Yeah Spheres is definitely not their best but it's certainly not a bad album at all; I think Consuming Impulse is their best though. Regarding Dissection, I have always referred to them as "deathened black metal" as the black metal influences are a lot more prominent than the death metal ones. Also Pungent Stench are really good although I only have one of their albums, "Been Caught Buttering", which is excellent. Sort of reminds me of Entombed's album "Wolverine Blues".

Yeah Pungent Stench mix in the kind of Rock style thats in Wolverine Blues and in Carcass's Swansong and yes Spheres is good Iike the evident Jazz influences, but seriously give Bolt Thrower a listen try the album ...For Victory or The IVth Crusade both of them are the best in my opinion
