I spent more then 200 hours too and killed the last boss in two hits :DzaidpassI have done many games of FFX and that is the case many times, the last boss is pretty easy, im guessing you dont mean yevon
isnt the barrel for the gunblade kind of two it has one either side (i think) i think that they make the buster sword look quite realistic in advent children (although i have just sean clips) with that cool dagger thing
