And also graw2 is coming out so yeah there are to really good games but if i were ytou if u dont wanna wait i would get battlefield 2 becuase its a really good game and its underrated and yeah BUT GOW is the besy game in the world if you want you can track me and yeah because we should play some nba or something add my gamertag

I am very disappointed in my X360 purchase. I bought it back in November when it first came out and simply I have been disappointed.
The only games I own for it are Gears of War and Sneak King. I enjoyed rented and playing Call of Duty 3 and Splinter Cell Double Agent but..
1)Gears of War was alright the first couple times through 2)Sneak King was fun for about 15 minutes P Pretty much every other game that I have rented from Gamefly for it has been bad enough that I actually sent it back the first or second day I had it. GRAW= what did they do to Ghsot Recon.. it is so boring, Rainbow Six Vegas=boring, Viva Pinata= couldn't get into it, Blazing Angels= terrible, Perfect Dark Zero= mediocre, Lost Planet= demo was so boring I didn't even rent it, Quake 4= mediocre, Prey= so bad.. I don't even know.
I mean that X360 was expensive and having to pay for Xbox Live just to downlaod demos and havng to wait a year for 2 good games is pretty much a waste. I just feel like I got ripped off. wookieeassassin

No problem. The way I explained was how I managed to get some of my early games. Afterwards after my parents saw that I was keeping my end of the bargain, they stopped checking in on me, and looking at my game collection.
Just remember though to not whine if they still say no, your acting years ahead of your age to gain their trust. Believe me, it shows when you act mature. Kaa21

I don't think your mom would continue to let you play GOW till your much older(guessing by what you said about her). But you might be able to convince her about Halo 3, and possibly other games.
I'd try talking to her about why she doesn't want you to play those types of games, and see if you can get her to read the reviews for the game ( content wise) and maybe even watch a few vids of the gameplay.
If you act like a mature person and calmy explain to her why you want to play these game, and explain that you know its not real, and won't try to do some of the things in it, you just probably defused her distrust of those types of games.
IMO, most parents are afraid that you would try to act out some of the things you see and hear in the game. Most of which could be harmful to you or others. So thats why a lot of them don't want their kids to play them until their children understand its not something you'd say/do in real life.
Some are stricter in that because they want you to not be exposed to those things at an early age( impressionable).
One other thing I'd mention is either not get caught playing GOW because you probably would get the game, and possibly the 360 taken away from you. Mainly because you broke your parents trust in you to obey them. Ruining your chance to get games like that till much, much later. Kaa21
