rome:tw is not about farming, when not in combat its turn based strategy...

something like warcraft 2? that's an old game, try starcraft,red alert 1&2.

if its fantasy your looking for i would say go for warcarft 3, that's an awsome game.

 Well not just like Warcraft2 but something like that were you have to farm or mine or chop down logs for your supplies something along those lines. I know warcraft2 is old but i am getting back to PC gaming now and that is what i liked the most and remember the most. Please help are there any games like that now that have you farm your resources??

im looking for an RTS that has things like warcraft2 had where you sat back and had to actually farm and expand ur  base in order to win. I currently own Company of Heroes and dont like the resource gathering where you have to get points and hold them and i dont like the pop cap! is Rome Total war like that where you actually farm ur resources? Please HELP ME find the RTS i want !!!
