You would be right about MS if they had bought out a cheap copy of the wii remote like sony has.

Waggling a wand at the screen just looks sad.

But we are talking 3d full body motion capture. Face and speech recognition. Scanning etc...

Motion controls and motion capture are not the same.

I like both series but gameplay wise Forza has been kicking GT's butt for a while now. If Forza 3 can get near GT's graphical quality then there will be no reason for me to buy GT5.

I own a LAN gaming centre in the UK. The top 10 multiplayer games played here last month are as follows:

1. World of Warcraft

2.Counter Strike Source

3.Crysis

4.Garry's Mod

5. Call of Duty 4

6.Company of Heroes

7.Warhammer 40k - Dark Crusade

8.Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour (played more than C&C3!)

9.Battlefield 2142 (got new maps the other day so it has been played more than BF2 which is 11th)

10. Guildwars

Having seen both gameplay videos I have to say they both look amazing. Imo Gears 2 looks better, it looks alot cleaner. I look forward to playing them both.

Sony. Remember they told us this generation starts when they say so.

You are right the online part of this game is terrible. It's just so frustrating. It's poor quality compared to FM2 or PGR4.

Yes we can all see it is a great looking game. I have had it a few weeks now and it does really suck online, even with the two patches we have had to download. It is really broken. Barrier penalties, shortcut penalties, collision penalties, lag and my favouite flaw is driving through an out of control ghost car only to have it turn solid at the last moment. The last time I played it online I went to drive through an out of control ghost car and got shunted into the barrier when it turned solid and then received a barrier penalty which then stops the accerlation for 4 seconds. I can not remember the last time a game got me so frustrated.

It has made me go back and play Forza 2 more. It has made me realise how good Forza 2 is and how poor GT5:P is.

So forget GT5 and bring on Forza 3.

Sony are a hardware company and make great hardware and the PS3 does feel like it is made better(apart from the sixaxis controller). But MS are a great software company so it is better online and has better games. I have both a 360 and PS3. I also have a gaming PC and if I had to give one up out of all three it would the PS3. It is the weakest in terms of a gaming experience.
