Double Whammy

Two powerful storm systems will make their way through the Northeast Thursday and Saturday night. The first system is a nuisance compared to the storm behind it. It is possible that, with the right timing of the jet stream and the storm, this could be a Nor'easter. As a result, the Northeastern US may have a total snowfall of 1-3 feet with the two storm systems combined.

Powerful Winter Storm

A very strong winter storm is making its way across the US. It is possible that with the right timing, this could be a major ice event for some of the Northeast.

TD-8 Forms

Tropical Depression Eight formed today, and they expect this one to make a more Northerly track and possibly into the US.

Trouble for the East Coast US (Invest 99)

That tropical disturbance off the Carolinas (Invest 99) is expected to strengthen at the end of this week. It is possible that with the right timing of certain factors, this could develop into something and head toward the Northeast US.

Felix Is Now A Category 5

A very powerful Hurricane Felix has reached Category Five strength in the Caribbean. As of 6am this morning, top winds were 165mph, with higher gusts. It's current track takes it into the Yucatan Peninsula and then Northern Mexico

Hurricane Felix

Hurricane Felix became the second hurricane this year in the Atlantic a few hours ago. It is forecast to become a major hurricane soon.

Tropical Depression Six formed this afternoon, but looks as though it may follow the same path Dean did.
