@JBStone1981 @lazycomplife If someone is going to pirate a game, they'll do it. And I can see how advertising comes into play, especially for microsoft. I mean hell, they even bombard the people that pay for their service with ads.
I don't see any benefit the system would gain from being always online. It will only harm the consumer, especially if the internet goes out or they can't afford the bill for a month. And this also means that your entire 720 gaming library would be useless if microsoft shuts down the 720 servers in 10 years. They're literally going to be able to brick their consoles on command in one fell swoop. That's M$ for ya.
Words are just words without action. And not one person puts games into origin that they could put in steam. If they can't look at their user's accounts and recognize that, then they're just stupid. Still, they are right that they aren't the worst company in America. If anyone thinks that EA is worse than wal-mart or oil companies, then they need to get their heads out of the clouds.
